Sony : Paris Games Week press conference dated

We only had one PSX so far. Not enough to tell which is bigger.

Anyway, Sony has 6 conferences every year, 2 by SCEA, 3 by SCEJA and 1 by SCEE. 4 are major shows, 2 are smaller ones.

Major shows:
SCEA #1 :E3
SCEA #2 : PSXP
SCEE : PGW/GC
SCEJA #2 : TGS (Japan)

Minor shows:
SCEJA #1 : China Conference
SCEJA #3. : TGS (Asia excluding China/Japan)

The show is pretty much going to be

-Some new info on already announced First party games (Hopefully something new with Horizon, a look at UC4 mp maybe)
-A reminder of third party games (Battlefront, COD, etc)
-Look at these indie games (PC only indie games now coming to console, or a console debut)
-Some new games being made by eastern studios (ex from previous: Tearaway, until dawn)

But they skipped Gamescom this year, so obviously they have no games.

Honestly, I think I would rather have the annoncement than the actual game. Don't really care about 3D platformers anymore, but GAF would explode and for that alone a ps3 Crash annoncement would be worth it.

Edit: More on topic. I expect this show to be pretty good and have plenty of annoncements. Gamescom last year was pretty good and this is 90 minutes instead of 70.

If that's the case Sony could have easily gone to Gamescom.

Sounds reasonable. But keep in mind, wasn't P.T. released at a Gamescom conference?
 
I'm glad Giantbomb is doing a show, will watch.

I'm hoping for some new IP announcements.

Or at least some showing of Shadow of the Beast.

True m, but Sony has the backing of everything at this point due to their insane lead. They pretty much always have some surprises for every conference.

If theres a time to show off gran turismo it would be at a Europe conference not PSX. God Of War/SSM would be saved for PSX imo

Activision would gain a ton of good will if they let Sony (for a modest fee) have control of a new Crash Bandicoot game. If Activision made a multiplatform one themselves I'd be afraid it'll be of the same quality THPS5 was.

Sean Murray isn't in Paris, that's not to say that No Man's Sky cannot appear, whether it's in a string of announcements confirming PlayStation VR support and indirectly being announced for 2016 if it's mentioned it's a launch title for it.

I personally hope for surprises but I just wanted to throw that out there because they may not be wrong.

Not all juniors man, just a select few. The ones who responded to me just have high hopes and dreams. We were all that once. Remember, last guardian hype griffin finally pulled through and our dreams came true. We can all #Believe in something we truly want.

My last dream is a legend of dragoon sequel, but that......that's as likely as SW1313 at this point lol
 
I'd be in for Knack 2. Combined with Knack hitting PS+ in November, just imagine.

Getting some sleep now, see all of you tomorrow when we are crashing the hype train together once again!

Which is fucking weird, considering this is closer to TGS than E3 was to gamescom.

If megatons are dropped, I will gladly eat crow, but this doesn't scream more than "delayed GC"

And PSX is in 2 months.

If you'd look back at the past 3 years of announcements at TGS,you know that a sizable amount of TGS announcements are by and large done with zero fucks given to the western world.

Listen, ALL we want is Agent, Legend of Dragoon 2, Crash Bandicoot, Crash Team Racing 2, a new Wild Arms and Suikoden, Shenmue 1 and 2 hD, Ape Escape 4 and Vanquish 2.

Oh, and a Rime release date.

TGS and Sony's other conferences don't overlap.

It only takes one bomb to cause GAF to melt

Even TGS last year was amazing. Persona 5 and dragon quest in some form on a Sony console again was enough to cause hyperventilating and a few unconscious gaffers lol.

I think grab turismo with some insane real gameplay footage from PD would cause minds to melt, especially if they can pull the same magic they did on the PS3 at 60fps.
