Nope I mean awful. I really enjoyed the Forerunner trilogy from a purely story perspective, but the damage it did to the Halo universe by explaining the Flood, Forerunners, and making Guilty Spark a human trapped in a lightbulb is just awful.

Apparently it has a 100ms ping ceiling or that is what I read on here and elsewhere. If you ping the datacenter in Ireland less than that (titanfall will tell you if you have it) , then you should be ok.

I disagree that it damaged the story, but I get that some people would have left the history a mystery. I enjoyed the explanations and loved how different it felt from the rest of the universe and would love to even see a spin off game during the Flood/Forerunner war, personally.

Criticizing a storyline isn't exactly an insult. I don't think that a book that's like 4 years old needs spoiler tags.

Explain without using the tired mystery argument, which was already dead by ODST and Reach.

Giving the forerunners what is essentially space magic and the ability to "evolve" at will is a pretty good argument. This isn't Pokemon.

Finished the first mission. Loving this so far. The gunplay is extremely satisfying and the visuals are top notch.

Hope to see more pre-rendered cutscenes but the in game ones are also gorgeous. Kamchatka was lovely.

I'm gonna hold off on playing more until I get up to date with the lore. I need to finish the Spartan Ops videos as well.

There's no secret thing that happens. You just have to fight. Probably worst encounter in the game for me. Try your best to use your team to distract then flank.
