Necro is amazing fun; limby zoning with amazing up close stun pressure and fun juggles. Without having to deal with air parries he'd be a much more competitive character too.

Sugiyama's Necro is one of my favourite third strike players to watch.

Plus his taunt was amazing.

Necro is good. He and Oro are the main culprits of SF3 getting a reputation for being freak populated, but both are great character designs.

Which I'm all for. She can stay out of SF for a long time. It surprises me how many people actually want her back while Fuerte usually gets all the hate. I know everyone has their preferences and I don't mind her design-wise either, but her playstyle is almost as bad as Fuerte with her almost-unblockable burnkicks. You might as well let go of the stick once she knocks you down and goes for her typical bullshit. At least she got a few nerfs after AE, but her damage output is still pretty nuts.

I think El Fuerte's spot was slightly taken by Rashid.

They don't play much alike, but the jumpy, rotating kicks remind me of Fuerte, and he also has that highly mobile play style.

Just not the, you know, dumb run/jump grabs.

Me thinks Crimson Viper, Hakan and Rufus will eventually return. Even with Necalli stealing the seismo.

There's plenty of Viper hate if you look around. She's not exactly universally liked.

They've already explicitly stated that they aren't just going by popularity, so this attempt at sarcasm sorta fails.


Anyways...they better make Sim REEEAAAAAAALLLY interesting, or it's gonna kill even more hype.

His CA better not be "Big Yoga Fire" that hits 9 times OMG. Yoga Legend or GTFO.

Hard not to like Necro if you've ever actually played him. He's got one of the most fun play styles in the whole franchise.

Viper was almost the only good thing about SF4. But they went too far, so opponents hate her because they think she's too easy to win with, but literally almost every competitive player abandoned her because she's way too risky to win with, compared to other characters. Double fail.

Not that I agree with his point but if you want to say that someone's inclusion has no value saying Seth is a better choice is a strong way to demonstrate it.

The character list whining is pretty dumb considering they'll be supporting this game for awhile.

Gief and Dhalsim belong together.

Capcom rarely separates them, and never in traditional SF game. He was confirmed as soon as Gief was, imo.
