Two new Iowa polls show Clinton with GIANT leads over Sanders

It's designed that by assimilating to the double-bind of inferred labor for school, that it will help give you grants and the like.

Still not good enough - we should be moving away from mandated labor ENTIRELY in our society, not locking down on it further - but it is indeed better than the shitpit we already have.

Your confusion is thinking the 10 hours has to create a wage to match the cost. As an American, you already know how fucking terrible this place is with wages, so you should have figured out something was afoot with that claim. It's more like indentured servitude for college.

and even reading her plan...it's like say I owe 30 grand (which is honestly way lower than the majority of graduates I know)...her plan is to allow easier refinance which will save me.....duh duh duh....a whole $2000 over the entire life of the loan!!!! My 10 hours a week is finally paying off!!! Man she's really sticking it to the banks and the rich.

If you don't understand what is wrong with calling a woman a "bitch" (especially in the context of not understanding her policies at all as many have pointed out) I have no idea what to tell you.

I call lots of people bitches and no, it has nothing to do with their sex. Sorry I listen to rap music.

Ah so because rap music has sexist lyrics it's ok to say them? What the hell?

So it would be ok to call gay people by the countless gay slurs said in rap?

This is the excuse you're going with? Okay man.

And based on your other post it seems you still don't fully understand her policy. There would be significant savings to new students. Your sarcastic comment about the banks and rich makes it seem like you're parroting random things you read online with little to no understanding of when to actually use them.

I can't speak on the specifics of her plan - it is at present an idea, and with the people we have in office, you know it's only going to get poisoned by the regressive right - the whole point is to try and deal with the problem, but in an American way.

It attempts to solve the results of problems, but never, ever the root that created the problem in the first place. Responding from results only is half-assed efforts, at best. That would perhaps be a fair criticism to have, for it's the same one with health care, and I actually say this as someone that the ACA benefitted. It's better than what we had before, but by and of itself it's still a terrible, shiity framework to impose in a society when clearer solutions should be goal, not half-measures.

I do not see Hillary, under any circumstance, running for the goals. She's already turned her back on one.

PoliGAF almost uniformly loathes Carly Fiorina, yet you don't see anyone calling her a bitch.

Or Ben Carson a nigger.

I did call Chris Christie a fat asshole in a thread earlier this week. I'll admit to that.

The work contribution is part of a no-loan guarantee for participating states. Keep reading or something I guess

It's not that Bernie losing makes this an oligarchy, as if this suddenly happened.

It's that Hillary winning guarantees the oligarchy we already have will stay. At least Bernie's sincerity, however incompatible it is to the metastasized political body, acknowledge the problem. Would he fix it? Probably not, but I would expect more from him than Hillary, even if it's just in words.

How can Hillary do the same when her top five donors are the problem? You need to be on some major fucking drugs to assume something notable and worthy will happen. And maybe you need to share that, too.

If Bernie were to win, the oligarchy we have would still stay. Ideological purists tend not to be particularly flexible about compromise - look at the current crop of obstructionist Republicans. Stick purists on both sides of the equation, especially when one side has fully established the 'socialism= the devil' meme among the general population, and absolutely nothing will get done. Republicans won't pass a single piece of Bernie's proposed legislation or anything even remotely like it, and Bernie probably won't be willing to pursue watered down versions of his policies.

Hillary probably won't get much done either, but she's likely gong to be more realistic about what can be accomplished, and knows how to compromise most effectively to move things forward. I'd much rather have something being done than nothing, and short of a sweep of Democrats in both the House and Senate, a Bernie Presidency would get nothing done.

It's not an excuse. I may, in fact, think that Hillary Clinton is not the right person for the job because she has a vagina. That's not what was intended with that post and me not knowing her full plan would not change that she chose to highlight that part of the plan during the debate.

Republicans have killed comprising with people you disagree with so much that Democrats can't even comprise with themselves.

lmao

I'd like to hear your reasoning behind this.

This must be a typo or grammatical error. Surely you realize this can be easily quoted in and out of context.

I think your opinions are bad, but christ, your writing is worse. I can't even understand what you mean with this.

I never said he'd fix the problem. But he's the only candidate running not afraid to call our system oligarchy. Hillary still talks about "God given rights" in a democracy. That game is as dead as the myth of God itself.

Please understand I don't think Sanders is some miasmic panacea. What we need is a change of the status quo, and I've long held it will be done through futility, not reason. Through the gears locking in this system, not people realizing it's about to crater. I commend him for at least talking about the issues and keeping them front and center, while Hillary tries to pedal around with weak-willed rhetoric.

Cut it out, Wall Street. ;)

This is horseshit. I side with the Dalai Lama in that having more women in power at leasts risks there to be more empathy. Quite a put down you're making on weak grounds.

And that excuses using offensive derogatory sexist comments...how?

It's like if you were talking about Obama and called him the n-word when attacking him. And then said its okay to say that because you listen to rap. Does that help explain why people are so in shock by your comment and your defense of it?

What a time to be alive.

Meanwhile Foffy still trying to be rational while his partner keeps digging his grave deeper and deeper.

Sanders supporters are really something. I would know because I'm married to one. But I understand how they feel, I'm a New Democrat in my home country of Canada so I know how it feels to have big momentum only for the rug to be pulled from under you.

I don't actually believe that....but it doesn't matter. I referred to her as a bitch because I actually believe that women do not deserve equal pay in the workplace. Come on guys.

I don't even know what you're trying to say here. Is this supposed to be sarcasm?

yes, the issue is with everyone else in this thread and not the absurd shit you're saying

come on guys

I don't know what to say, if this is sarcasm at work, you're horribly bad at it.

The comment was beyond sexist, regardless if you feel you aren't sexist or not. Someone who isn't a racist doesn't get a free pass to use the n-word. And someone who supports gay rights isn't giving free pass to call people "fags".

Are you also under the impression that the details of policies and proposals that were released months ago are reiterated in full during 90-second debate answers?

I'm simply denying the fact that I am sexist by saying the most outlandish shit possible. Bitch was probably the wrong word to use since it does have gender connotations. That's honestly how I speak normally. I probably use "corporate whore" a lot too but would likely use "shill for the banks" in the future when talking about Hillary. Truth be told, I wouldn't vote for Bernie as an independent it came down to Hillary versus a guy like Trump. But honestly I'd have to see the field at that point. I still think a guy like Ben Carson could win even with Bernie splitting the vote. I simply hate the fact that every Hillary supporter hear talks down to Bernie supporters like this shit was all foretold and that people were stupid to even believe he had a chance to begin with.

There's still the very significant issue of foreign policy. I'll trade minor domestic victories for keeping us out of further blunders abroad.

That's still something that be seen as sexist. You could just call her $Hillary if you wanted to make such a point.

Use bitch around your friends, like drag queens do. But not in a thread like this. Total backfire on what point you may have tried to be making, bro.
