Halo 5: Guardians |OT| The Trials of Osiris

The shooting mechanics lead to a lot of duels, and they usually come down to who performs better under pressure...

Yeah this nails it, I'm terrible at staying calm. Fingers crossed I will find somewhere to fit in soon, social playlist sounds good :D

Oh man , been playing all day and i love this game.

Tha campaign was awesome, even though it does have problems it succeeds where halo 4 fails. Halo 4 was meant to be a re-introduction to the halo franchise with new enemies, new location and new storyline but it all felt flat and boring. Halo 5 makes me super excited about the future of halo.

The multiplayer is also great. Having a ton of fun in arena and warzone. Felt so proud of myself when i found out how to get the damage boost on the orion map.

It's funny how much I love Halo, but absolutely hate Warzone. Just don't don't his game mode any fun.

I played team slayer most of the day and forgot this mode was even there. Having so much fun. Is anyone experiencing lag in matches that causes opponents to freeze and not take damage? Happens more than I would like but other than that not complaints.

Hey, quick question about the Warzone Req pack. Is it like regular DLC that applies to all users on the home Xbox? I bought the limited digital edition, I have the Req Packs but my son does not.

Is there a recap video I can watch? I played through some of the games a while back and don't remember the details of 1-4, reach or odst

Bought this today .First Halo game. Read lots saying it's too easy. Bloody hell, I'm terrible at this game. Campaign only so far

Spend most of my time being revived and keep accidentally throwing grenades. Who thought mapping grenades to anything other than the right shoulder button was a good idea?

I don't think that 4 hour play through is gonna happen! Still good fun, if a bit frantic so far.

Happy days.

Haven't picked up my copy yet but I'm hearing the launch has gone incredibly smooth. Forbes reviewer said he made it through the entire campaign without seeing a single bug, glitch or crash. The only negative I've seen so far with regards to performance is very slight lag in MP.

Just wanna get a feeling from those that are playing right now.

I've played about 4 hours of the multiplayer but something just isn't clicking for me. The arena playlists are fine for what they are and are pretty fun if the teams are evenly balanced. However, the warzone modes just don't scratch the same itch as BTB. I can see the current maps getting old pretty quickly.

Don't know how Halo 5 is, but when I started playing the series I also was getting destroyed in the campaign.

The first time I played Halo 4 I complained about the lack of ammo. When I got used to it I could see there's plenty of ammo actually, you just need to use the right weapons at the right enemies, and aim for the head.

It gets some time for you to understand its mechanics. But you will get it!

Just be aware that each enemy has its weakness and some weapons are much more effective than others to put different kinds of enemies down. Change weapons constantly and know them, learn in wich enemies they work better! That's part of the fun! =D

Right, that's the campaign complete at last. It was alright. It's not going to go down as one of the more memorable fps experiences of my time. I can't frown too much about the 'general' fun the game provided me, but it's just, I've been there, seen it all before. All the Halo campaigns are starting to seem too similar to me and repetitive. This game in particular got very repetitive towards the end with that rather uninspired boss fight.

Luckily the multiplayer stuff is rather good, especially the Warzone mode. I just made a complete tit of myself on it though by completing failing my use of a banshee vehicle. No freaking idea how to fly those things.

I'm just generally suffering a bit of fatigue when it comes to new entries in these big franchises because it seems that the developers aren't prepared to take the risk of doing something different. All we're ending up with are games that are basically carbon copies of the last entry, and where's the fun in that? It's not as special anymore redoing the exact same things you've already done three times over in other games.

It's why for me personally the last Far Cry game, Arkham Knight and now this have all felt a bit meh to me, because none of them offered absolutely anything new. Whilst I was playing the Halo campaign with my brother just then we both said to one another, "you getting a feeling of dejavu playing this?"

It probably explains why my favourite games of the year so far all been original ip.

Fo anybody using the Elite controller, have you found that any of the new analog stick sensitivities have a positive impact?

They already gave you so many options, it's ridiculous to wish for another, but I kind of wish you could program context-sensitive analog sensitivity.

So, if the left trigger is held down, then the sensitivity drops slightly for when I'm zoomed in.

This is annoying. Waited all day to play Warzone. I can't face the single player right now, I might finish it one day but it's just not doing it for me at the moment.

This service record stats are pretty much only K/D ratio with win ratio in a tiny little corner in the bottom. That pretty much puts a K/D over everything else mentality in people, even in objective based multiplayer. Like, even though I had the most captures and won the match, my K/D ratio is the only thing that shows up in my stats. Good thing I hate losing more than I hate hurting my stats, but not everyone feels that way. I've played a couple of objective matches where nobody did anything but kill the other team.
