Warzone is surprisingly fun, I wasn't really expecting it to click with me, but am having a really good time with it.

It's just a shame they have Sarah Palmer, the Jar Jar Binks of Halo, narrating the whole thing.

I agree with the Warzone bit. Didn't see myself enjoying it at all, but it's pretty great. Hate to admit it but the reqs have me hooked as well.

Ehh....just woke up and was going to try and play a little bit before going to work. The game crashes every time I try to launch it from the dashboard.

Guess it's time to uninstall and redownload. Super annoying and kind of destroys the purpose of a preload.

Yep, the few games I played earlier were all with the Yankees lol. I got slaughtered largely because of it. Great matchmaking 343, so much for us Euro's getting looked after. Pure garbage.

I haven't heard a UK accent all night, just US ones.

Two teammates quit in the first minute. My other teammate commits suicide over and over until it kicks him.

Great game.

Played the first mission on Heroic. Wasn't really feeling it and didn't really know what was going on.
Played partway through the next mission and got much more comfortably in the Halo groove.
Team revives in single player are the best and the AI seems to actually be helping me.
Can't wait to to play more.

I'm confused by this game already. A lot seems to have happened since Halo 4 that I'm unaware of plotwise, and Halo 5 does a piss poor job of setting a foundation. Ugh....

It took me a couple of hours to get used to the aiming too. I don't know if it's the sensitivity, the reduced aim assist, or something else, but it does feel a bit 'stiffer' than the earlier games.

Level 10 is painfully slow. If someone starts pecking me from behind I can't quickly 180 and assess the situation. It's absolutely infuriating.

That particular gun is probably a permanent. It's a loadout weapon: the weapons you might expect to start with at the beginning of an arena match.

The single use items tend to be more powerful weapons... The weapons you would have to pick up in an area match

I'm trying to play online but the game tells me I need Gold and tells me to check the status of my membership. It says I don't have it, which I don't think o do, but then when I use the free trial card that came with the game it says I already have gold. Still can't play online. Anyone know what's going on?

Ugh. I feel as if I should be able to double jump or have jets to get higher. And I hate how I keep running out of bullets. Come on, make one your squad mates an ammo person that refills once you get low, or being that this is hundreds of years in the future invent some fucking weapons that don't run dry so quick.

I'm enjoying it though, but I'm not all that impressed with the graphics. There is something very sterile and samey about them. I was more impressed with Halo 4 on the 360.

Did you play Spartan Ops in Halo 4? If not you should probably watch the cutscenes on youtube or Halo Channel. That should get you up to speed.

I just finished watching The Fall of Reach. Kinda disappointed because I thought we would see

There is no expanded literature that explains the antagonists actions or motivations.

For Halo 4, we had a trilogy of books and the Terminals to shed light on Didact's. We have nothing to go on at all in Halo 5 beyond what you see in game.

I thought your arena ranking was determined entirely off of win/loss? Me and three friends did all of our placement matches together. Me and another got Diamond I, one got Platinum I, and one got Gold I. Also do you always get placed into the first level of a tier or is it possible to get placed at a II or III rank from the start?

Single use, only primary loadout stuff is permanent, or the special weapons certifications, which means that you'll get more single use REQ's corresponding with that certification ie. if you want more SAW's or Sniper Rifles etc.
