Halo 5: Guardians |OT| The Trials of Osiris

Just finished swords of sanghelios and I just needed to take a minute to say how great I'm finding halo 5. This is the biggest leap forward in a halo game over it predecessor(s) since halo 2. Maybe ever. I'm loving virtually all of it, story included/especially. Awesome job 343.

Did you look in the Steel Case? Its a bundle code. So the code for Fall of Reach is combined with the Req pack code.
 
People with the warzone req dlc, have they released the first two packs yet? I don't see mine, only the beta one :(
 
Sucks that Ive missed out on an entire day of play, good thing I'm off tomorrow too. The the thirst is real, does this game need to be fully "installed" to be able to launch and play? or can you play it after it "partially" downloads like some titles?? Thanks

I got the digital code for the game, is it on the same booklet as that? There was only one code on the scratch off part... There's also a slip for the FOTUS armor...is that it?

:l This is lame.

I agree about the visors. After playing normal games for so long, they seemed super obstructive.

It may have been. Go to Halo 5 on your games tab. Press manage game and the warzone req bundle you should see on the side where the add ons show. It may have all been on one code. Check the armor one too.

I have my xbox set to 5.1, so it goes by that setting. In-game there are two audio settings: headphones or speakers. There are at least separate volume settings for sound effects, music, and voice which is nice and a first for Halo.

I hate there's no center channel during gameplay though. Has got to be a bug. Sound is perfect during cutscenes.
 
Legendary mode is fucking absurd. I pray for the consoles of those who are going to try it solo, because I expect many will be broken afterwards.
 
Does anyone think people are doing bad at mp on purpose, so that they can get into a low ranked grouping and dominate?

Yeah it looks like I got it, but I didnt get the 2 free packs apparently, unless thats next week....or did people get all 14 at once?
 
Is anyone else having problems uploading 60fps videos to Youtube? All of my uploads have only processed at 1080p30. Even some of my recent videos are only in 1080p30 now when they were in 60fps. Really weird.
 
Just played the first couple of missions. The game is so much smoother. So smooth i have to get use to the Halo gunplay all over again. The story so far has me interested. I loved Reach because if the squad mentality so this up right up my alley. Seeing the characters interact with each other makes the game more interesting.

This is somewhat disappointing. I will also be extremely disappointed if BTB is not at least 12v12. If it can handle warzone 12v12 with AI. 12v12 human only BTB should be no problem.
 
If anyone wants to run competitive Arena, shoot me an FR. Communication is a must. Preferably Platinum or higher.

GT is WRC Evo X.
 
I swear to christ, these quitters in arena.

I haven't done bad as far as personal performance, but overall I think I've won maybe just two or three games today? Teammates either quit or shit the bed.

Warzone is fun as hell though.
 
I usually find every halo campaign super damn boring, I mean like, put me to sleep boring, just going through the game was always a chore to me


Now idk what 343 did...but I'm 3 missions in and it's already better than the other halo games (imo...well excluding Odst, which maybe getting bumped from number 1 to number 2)

I think it's because I have a team now instead of just lone wolfing it, and Titan smashes and shoulder charges, and ADS (or just the natural feeling of pulling left trigger to aim at distance) idk

I like it


Edit: how do I mute all in arena? I've been spoiled by mute lobbies on destiny and I'm suddenly reminded by how vile public lobbies are again
 
Just got done with my heroic playthrough. Legendary is next. Other than too many crawlers, I thought it was fantastic. I don't know what most of the complaints of a bad story are coming from. I thought it was really cool, and finding out who the Big Bad is, is an awesome twist ,especially with how it ended.
 
Man I have to say I'm having total Halo 2 competitive vibes from Halo 5! The gunplay is so tight and everything is so well polished and purposeful. Maps are great and even Warzone is loads of fun! (Didn't think I'd enjoy anything outside of Arena)

Will be spending my multiplayer time here. No more Desriny Crucible. This is my jam!

Anyone ever looking for a solid player who likes to call out and play smart... Hit me up! Reallllly going to be spending a lot of time in Breakout as well once I find a few solid teams.
