I've got the store page for Geo Wars 2
Really?

Yep, it was one of the first I foundReally?
Dumb question perhaps, but I own Borderlands GOTY. When I popped in the game disc, it installed the game, but when I try to pop in the dlc disc, it says it isn't a compatible disc. Is there any way to get the dlc if it was bought physically?
Borderlands 1 DLC is included with the base game on Xbox One.
My whishllst:
Vanquish
Bayonetta
Spelunky
That's all.
Alll those would be great. I'd also like Nier and Red Dead.
Forgot about Dragon's Dogma. Add it to the list.
SEGA seems to be on board, I don't see why it wouldn't![]()
Activision isn't allowing BC.
You really want to play in Hacked/modded lobbys?
When did they start selling original xbox games in the 360 store? I clicked on recommended games and Jade Empire showed up for $9.99
A few Xbox games were wrapped for 360 at or around launch in 2005 I think. It's a subsection of the handful of disc based games they supported from the OG Xbox.
It's the best way to play one of my favorites Metal Arms: Glitch in the System.
It likely just wasnt supposed to be released until November 12thSEGA revoked rights to SVC: Streets of Rage today. Even if you have it downloaded, you can no longer play it.

Oh ya good catch, possibly releasing some games early to preview members...then again, store dates are often wrong pre-release so I don't put too much stock into thenThe store lists next week. Maybe an early update if you're in the beta?
I'm definitely picking Riptide up...$3 is very niceJust purchased both Dead Island games, Alice Madness Returns and Dead Space on xbox.com, fingers crossed they are all BC compatible before long.
Couldn't say no at their current prices.
I heard that they had added support for DLC with Mass Effect. I've just tried to download it and not had any luck - is it only for people running the NXE dashboard?
Did you go into manage game? It should be in there. I haven't personally checked though. (I'm not on NXOE fyi)
Also DLC of course only works if it is bought on the marketplace, not through GOTY discs or any of that stuff, at least not yet.
Yeah, I've been into manage game and there's nothing showing up other than the base game itself. I've owned the DLC since it first came out, so it should be there.
Ahh well, I can't see support for ME2/3 coming for a while anyway (what with them being multi-disc and never having digital releases), so guess I'll do my trilogy replay on the 360.
That's nice, but that doesn't prove that those who bought the XBLA version can never play it on Xbox One, which is what I asked. It's only speculation for now, I guess.
Either their revocation fails to be consistent across the board or you're just assuming they did. Getting it to start up has prompted a dialog box verifying ownership since yesterday when it was discovered to be available, but choosing to cancel usually clears the window and starts the X360 emulation up anyway, even if you simply have to attempt to start it up again. I already owned it from release on XBLA and I got it to work just now for me.

I'm tempted to pick up Dead Space too but there is a good chance EA games will go on EA Access so I'm going to hold out for that.

EDIT: also was that rocket kick combo exploit ever patched out of Bayo? That was great for racking up currency after beating the game.
I guess their action is ineffective for all people who downloaded it. The title works as I described even a minute ago.No assumptions.
On the 27th I was able to download, install and run it without issue. The game has been in my XBLA library for years. Played a bit of Streets of Rage 2 without issue. During that time (the night of the 27th/morning of the 28th) the game launched and played as expected. There was never a dialog box asking if I owned it or not. It behaved the same as any other Xbox One game.
Yesterday evening I attempted to fire it up again, after it had been removed from the store. The license had been revoked as no matter what I did, I got the "Do you own this game or app?" error message. No matter which options were chosen, it refused to launch. It is exactly the same as when you install from a disc and then try to launch without the disc.
The situation is identical today.
This is what happens when a license is revoked on the system.
I'd buy an Xbox One only to play Red Dead Redemption on it!
A gaffer is selling me Nier.....so if I could play it without plugging in my 360.....fuck yes!
You could buy a 360 for far cheaper.
I agree I do not understand his logic.
The MS employee has recently played CoD4. EvB found the store page a long long time ago so the rumour isn't new but it adds a little more spice to the rumour.
I'm like 99% sure he's testing BC so I'm confident Activision/CoD will be on board with BC now.Don't kill me if I'm wrong
EvB found those 4 store pages a while back too. That's the only Activision game I need
Hell I would buy a full priced remastered if they could fix all the hacks
A MS employee recently played Portal: Still Alive, Portal 2 and The Orange Box. I hope Valve is on board (with also Left4Dead)![]()
I just need South Park stick of truth, borderlands( already confirmed), skyrim , and reach. Everything else is whatever
Borderlands in the preview. I've played about 3 hours in 4 player co-op, with the other players all on 360 - worked really well. Absolutely the same as playing on 360, but with screenshots.
