Counter strike go on steam handles this better than most other games. Should just copy their method. 30 minute to weekly bans depending on number and degree of offense.
Two players who were teamkilling lately were given 48 hour bans in a game I was in. It was kind of awesome.
Damn I spent the whole time suggesting the wrong fix for the elite's banshee instead. I really liked those walk around missions. I think there is more they could do with it, but it was an interesting direction.

We're about to see the start of a future 'based on true events' horror movie about a college kid caught up in a SAW style game of knifey-zippy involving knives and lighters.
For all my negativity and ignorance in the run up to Halo 5, this is the best Halo campaign ever. The Halo universe getting the treatment it deserves with the story's quality of presentation and depth. It brings back the sense of mystery from CE with some good in-game dialogue, and because there is actually a mystery and new worlds to explore.
I changed the control settings from default to "Halo" and zoom is as it always was. Thrusters should stay forever.
A 10 for the proper Halo campaign alone.
I also love the look of the game, even though I said I hated it before I played it. Shame on me.

Good to hear. Last 3 Team Arena games I have had team mates quit. Then we just get overrun and lose. I feel like I'm never gonna get off Diamond 1. Also, playing the first of 10 breakout games to get ranked and 3 of the other team are Onyx. I thought everyone you would be matched with would be qualifying too not mlg pros.

lol if i open this thread when there are large gifs posted, i immediately start lagging in the game.
Despite my moaning about getting matched with teams of four and quitting teammates on my qualifying matches for Slayer I still got ranked platinum :shrugs: ... The system must take into account who you are playing I guess. 5/10 of them were against teams of 4 and we got wrecked. I was struggling to go positive in these.

Just finished the campaign. On first blush it was decent from a design point of view but horrendous from a narrative point of view. It feels like someone ripped three random chapters from bad Halo fanfic and made a game out of it. Just terrible stuff. Overall it's by far the worst of the Halo campaigns. By a good mile and half.

Buying silver, you get 8 permanents for every 6 you get from buying gold, but they're lower rarity. Look at the stuff available at each tier and decide for yourself what you want to pursue.
You need to be a high enough req level. Like, I've got a Recon AR that requires REQ level 8. Your level builds steadily throughout the match.

yooo this game is a ton of fun
didn't know how to feel after completing the campaign on heroic (plot felt a little flat to me, but i want to give it another playthrough on legendary), but multiplayer is where this game freaking shiiiines. reminds me of halo 2 in that regard. I can see myself playing this a ton. Just makes me sadder there's no split-screen, but what can you do.

I was really worried Halo 5 would be like this. But it seems it's the right amount of developer choice and fan input. It's why the game works so well. Can't wait until Forge releases, BTB is added and they add more REQ's into the game.
I'm super hyped for the Mark IV. I'm hoping they somehow give it the ridiculous Halo Wars proportions.
