Stripper posts insane story on Twitter with more twists than a Shonda Rhimes script

People actually thought that Jess twitter account might be real? It's fake.

Looking at her Instagram...

Christ I hope it's all fake. There were many moments in Zola's one where it reminded us shit like this really happens and might well have happened here, but look at Jess's Instagram and... That kid looks like such a lovely kid. Zola has one, too, right?

There's tragedy everywhere

You're surprised strippers & whores have kids at home? Would you also be surprised to find out all pornstars have herpes, too?

Come on, man. Where did I say I was surprised or not surprised?

I simply pointed out the tragedy of it.

Also the pornstar comment is in very bad taste.

Am I allowed to post this?

Look at the comment nsfw mentions the jarret jump

Holy fuck. So balcony jump confirmed...

I don't see why you can't post it.

Sequel was weak. And fake.

EDIT (well, not really, but I want a new post): What, some of you actually believed this story? Come on, so obviously fake! Not saying some of it couldn't happen, but by the end it gets Tarantino ridiculous. And she says right out in the last line that it's fake! "If you guys read all the way here you are hilarious", or something. Man, come on. GAF, man.

the original could be real, it's natural, but the sequel was obviously fake, don't get carried away here.

We can't know, really.

I thought the very same thing, but according to someone a couple of pages ago, that last tweet was aimed at the people who had been responding to her and making her laugh throughout the story as she was tweeting it.

Also evidently aspects of the story are being proven by timestamped comments on Jess's Instagram, from months ago. Like referencing (particularly ridiculous) events in the story with a '50 weeks ago' timestamp.

No, I looked at another picture and its basically people who just followed her now going back and commenting on old pictures.

But the really inditing messages had timestamps on them from up to a year ago?

I assume you can't edit timestamps like that and they're generated by Instagram.

Edit: I see now the time stamp doesn't relate to the comments but when the picture was posted.

Who the fuck knows?

Gaf reads about a kicked dog or dead lion everyone cries

Gaf reads about prostitution, rape, kidnap, attempted suicide and murder and it's the best story ever.

It's all bullshit anyway

Granted, I've never been in that world or even close to it, and I'm sure crazy shit does happen, but this story just ends up completely ridiculous. COULD be true, but I very highly doubt it.

I know people who were in that world and nothing about the original Zola story is implausible save the pants getting caught on the balcony, which is just unlikely, but still plausible.

lol at people who were willing to believe without question that a guy jumping off a balcony was miraculously saved by his pants and that the dreadlocked guy from the motel just miraculously happened to be the same guy who stumbled across a backpage ad and decided he'd kidnap a prostitute now acting all skeptical

He didn't find her on backpage, he gathered info from Jarret about who's was there in his room. He was a rival pimp.

I think even some people who say they understand the story really don't, you have to read it a few times

Edit: I think dreadlocks guy saw Jess at the apt, found her backpage ad and called it to kidnap her.

(1) They moved hotels. (2) As far as Jarrett knew at the time he talked to this made-up individual, they were just there to strip; (3) he called the trap phone which was posted on the backpage ad.

Yeah I walked into that one forgetting the other details lol. It's still plausible though, dread guy could have been keeping notes on how everyone looked and recognized her on backpage. I take stories I read online with a grain of salt. I have also been in milder versions of the story.

My guess is the skeleton of the story may well be true (stripper goes to Florida with another stripper friend who turns out to be prostitute, and gets stripper involved) but the rest of the details are invented.

You're right. But all he told the "rival pimp" was that he was mad that his girl went to work with her friend and he didn't want her to. That still doesn't explain how the guy knew she was the one on backpage, and of course the magic life-saving pants. Not sure why people are so invested in this being true.

Saque 634 en mi TOEFL de universidad. Lo que pasa es que aparentemente no me enseñaron a hablar como puta de calle.

Si estaba entendiendo la gran mayoría pero me dio hueva descifrar esa madre que insisten era ingles de Oxford.
That transition from diet racist to full blown racist. The irony in posting this in Spanish. I can't

Jess un-privates her Instagram and is posting her Twitter and snapchats. Bout to go from being lost in the game to being lost in the fame.

Agree with you except some parts are invented and some exaggerated.

I read it as dread guy was mad business was being taken from his girls since Jess is in his territory and figured he would snatch her.

Edit: Zola posts Jess actual pictures on backpage, he could easily come across and find her.

With the way Z reacted it's not out of the question that dread locks guy could put two and two together. As for the backpage thing, it's only common sense to check there if you're looking for a specific prostitute.

The pants thing is incredibly unlikely but I thought dread guy finding Jess was believable.

Real talk, though, I don't know where you guys are seeing racism there. He said she writes "like a whore", not "ghetto talk" or "black twitter" or whatever. He was being a condescending dick for sure, but I don't really see racism...unless you're saying that Zola's tweets are written in "black talk" and that insulting her vernacular is insulting all black folks. Which, you know, would kinda be closer to racial profiling than what Alex posted.

Let's just ignore the douche and enjoy Zola's heavy use of slang and hoeisms. I saw that Jess retweeted that Zola's promising a sequel at some point (just not today), so that's something to look forward to.

I think Jess is trying to jump head first into the fame of this.

Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter all unprivate now.

I'm already over it. not that riveting a story. unexpected format, and well told for its use, but this isn't Oscar worthy and Shonda's going to have to hustle and flow if she wants to make this into something decent.
