This is definitely one of the times that working for the government pays off, I now get Veterans Day off which happens to be the day after Fallout 4 comes out.

Now that we have seen few unboxings of PC version of Pipboy edition we know for sure that physical release comes with 1x 4.7GB DVD. Even with some sick compression people will be looking at ~20GB download on 10th.

That really sucks for those going with physical because of bandwidth and/or data caps.

This is what I'm doing. Using university Internet to download the preload to an external and then use that to play. I have to do that with every steam game I download

Definitely curious about the reviews, especially because of the way BGS has handled Fallout 4 and the marketing. Usually by now with any other game we would have known about new features and details and it's still all rather unknown for us all. There's also the fact the RPG genre hasn;t been sitting still and things have changed and improved since Skyrim.

Edit: If it's DL then you are looking at "only" ~10GB download, assuming some sick compression

Mutiple DL dvds are very common on current pc retail versions. I have bought a lot retail games this year (witcher 3, gta v, project cars, ds2 sotfs, wolfenstein old blood, dragon age, mgsv, dead rising 3 and some more) and just mgsv came in a sl dvd (with a 9MB installer :/)

yeah really wondering if I should go digital or not.. done so on my last 2 games... I just hate having to go to shitstop and then back home and then install it and then go to sleep... meh.. preload for the win...

The pipboy edition isn't the actual press kit I would think. They're probably bonuses meant for a specific employee/reviewer.

Mods will be coming to both, XBO and PS4. There may be little wait for PS4 players, but mods are coming.
