Honestly I'd be pretty stoked for Hayden to come back in some form. His acting was totally fine in other movies, its just shit scripts and direction from Lucas that led to his weak performances in the PT.

Maybe with some good dialogue and a decent director he would get a chance to redeem himself? If he had an awesome part in Ep. 8 I could see it retroactively making the PT movies better in some way..Idk this sounds kinda crazy lol but id be down for it

I've always felt that way. I get tired of David Prowse's bitching and whining, even if Lucas did fuck him over. They can find some 6'6 guy out there and put him in the Vader suit. James Earl Jones is Darth Vader.

If you think putting Christensen in a Sequel is going to retroactively make anything better, you're mistaken. That's not how movies work. Hell, it's not how TIME works.

You only put Christensen in a film if you think he'll help THAT film. The sequel trilogy isn't here to rehab old movies. That's not one of its aims.

according to a google search, David Prowse was 6'5" and Kane Hodder is 6'4". Close enough.

I think, espescially with the ridicolus hate against everything that came from the prequels that we have seen in this thread, they should cast so eone else.

They did change Shaw's face to somewhat resemble some of Hayden's facial features in the 2004 DVD release.

Anakin Skywalker's eyebrows have been digitally removed, to match when he got burned in "Revenge of the Sith". His eyes have also been changed to blue and minor cosmetic alterations have been made to his face to more closely resemble the Anakin portrayed by Hayden Christensen in the prequel trilogy.

I don't think it would have been any harder than the Jabba scene, in fact I don't remember Mark Hamill and Sebastian's faces being in the same shot. They could have re-shot the close ups and done some crafty editing.

There were some kinks to work out with his fancy self-lowering helmet chamber before it could reliably hit its target.

The only reason it didn't make sense is because they decided his eyebrows were burned off in ROTS despite them being present in ROTJ. They retroactively made it not make sense.

I think JJ showed Into Darkness for a terminally ill Star Trek fan, so I think he (and Lucasfilm) will do this.

In an interview on Wednesday, he said they'll probably finish the rest of the special effects in the next three to four weeks but the cut will be done before then.
