Halo 5: Guardians |OT| The Trials of Osiris

I'm arguing that there's less of what made Halo awesome, e.g less gunfights and you go ahead and post a gif of you spartan dashing people in the back? And icing on the cake, to show that you're good? So, uh, you're on my side? Thanks?

Please tell me you're kidding, or you're 12.

If you notice, everyone he's done it to isn't paying attention. You're seriously out of your element.

I can see that argument.

I think my favorite at the moment is the DMR though.

But that just shows that what Ram said is true. We all have our favorites, each of which has a place in the sandbox that's effective and balanced.
I feel like Halo 5's weapons are more useful overall than any other Halo game. Allows for a lot of variety.

Why doesn't Warzone show who is talking? I'm having to resort to mute all because it won't show me the one asshole who is playing music through his mic

Legendary is killing me, seriously and it does not help that the AI is so fucking stupid sometimes.....

Also I have a question, how do you guys use the AR in MP? Do you use short bursts at medium range or you hold the trigger?

I am not that great of a player, but I seem to have trouble engaging people at medium/long range when I use the BR against people using the AR.

However when I use the AR I am not that effective with it, in Warzone until I get the BR I actually prefer to use the Magnum.

So if anyone has some pointers that would be great.

In that quote you posted he's saying there's no gunfights, I give him a clip of pure gunplay and he responds "lol try hard, can't believe you uploaded that."

The guy isn't worth engaging.

Woah. All this Halo 3 talk made me go look at my stats and I have over a month of playtime in that game. I probably have more too because I can't remember all the accounts I had. I liked making new ones and trying to rank it up. And I was over a year late to that game.

Loved that game.

It does you just have to look at the scoring screen. The icon next to their name will show who's talking. Mute doesn't always work though which can really suck. I end up having to leave my headset off.

"I see everyone here is wrong by proxy of not agreeing with me, who is right. I've been trying time and time again to explain how I feel is the only way things make sense, but hey, if everyone here just wants to keep being willfully ignorant of my opinions objectively being correct and infallible, so be it. :)"

I've said there's less of it. Never did I say there's none. Stop putting words into my mouth man.

I really don't give a fuck what any of you think about my opinion. It's just that, my opinion, you have yours. Obviously it's hitting home somewhere or another, as you're all getting so damn worked up about it.

Or would you prefer I go around demanding GTs? Haha.

I just join a party by myself, people using their Kinects for voice are the worst.

There's not less of it though.

I don't want to shit on him, I just want to see if he can back up his claims. He wants to position himself as an authority? Fine. I just want to check his credentials. That's all.

Or maybe he could use another argument than "I'm right because I say so," that would work too.

Stats are good and all but sometimes words should speak for themselves. Don't think you need a PhD in Halo to see why Halo 5's sandbox is much better than previous titles. There are only a few weapons I'd say aren't competitively viable, but they aren't dual wield trash or map decorations.

It's not doing it for me. I spent 20 seconds or so looking at the scoring screen and no one was lighting up like they were talking but someone's mic was going off. This has happened in multiple games. I just have to mute all.

Uh I've mentioned that several times. What exactly are u trying to say dude?

I and others have already said it. You don't know wtf you're talking about. What is your GT anyway?

true enough and I was more going back to his sprint/charge is overpowered like having a sword. He's all over the place.

Heh, thats my same story, I have 59 Days in playtime for Halo 3, and I went trough more than one account, my main was so bad that at one point I had to win more than 4 games in a row to rank up one rank.

For what it worth, I dont see myself playing Halo that much anymore, there are tons of good games to play, and I dont have as much time as before.

The thing is, I agree with all of that. Especially the bit about the sandbox.

But his words sum up to "I'm right, you're all wrong, and that's on you," so it would be nice to see if there's any reason to think he might be on to something. All of his word-based points have been hollow.

I'm really kind of disliking the multiplayer.

It doesn't feel like halo it feels like call of duty "gotcha" kills where you can't do shit.

The maps are boring too.

Here is my H3 Profile. I will let you be the judge of how much I played H3.

https://www.halowaypoint.com/en-us/games/halo-3/xbox-360/service-records/players/tj%20nutterb

I fully understood the mechanics, that did not make it any less cumbersome. I did not forget when my shots landed on people but did not get a kill. At least with hit scan, If I die in a fight, I am missing shots. I feel sorry for everyone who does not like the gunplay in 5, this is the first Halo game where every, yes EVERY weapon can be used to get kills even in a competitive environment.

Man, you should've stopped 9 kills before 123465.

I still like the spread on H3 BR. The H5 BR might as well just be one bullet. There's no dragging to the head.

I felt that way too, but as I get better with the pistol and more familiar with the maps, things get better :)

BTW, those red barrels on Plaza are invaluable. People don't notice them, and you can pop 'em with one pistol shot.

So I just played 2 arena games where my entire team quit on me and I was left to play 1v4. If I quit out when I'm the last one left do I still get punished by their banning system? It's really killing the game for me.

Nah this shit is just dumb.

If I start getting shot by someone for a while before I see them I just give up at this point.

No man, you're dead wrong, just look at posted clips in the last couple pages.

You must just suck ass. Like get better dude.

This is the most well paced, strategic, gunplay oriented halo ever.

I'm having a lot of trouble with aiming... The dmr. All the other rifles and the magnum feel fine. Lots of perfects, few issues. But the dmr somehow feels different. Anyone else notice this? Is it just me? I fucking loved the thing in the beta btw

Man, you snap onto anyone that remotely agrees with you like a bear trap. It's pretty entertaining to watch. What's your gamer tag?

a lot of people have said this at many forums i was raeding, gaf seems to be one of the most positive places though

Could you point out which are this Many forums you are talking about? the only one I have seen is team beyond, and opinion seem to be pretty much divided, but not like a over majority disliking the game. the same with Halo Waypoint forum

The problem I am having with MP is remember that it is Halo, not that it doesn't feel like Halo because to me it does and I love it.

It is looking down the sights, I don't know why but I am zooming in constantly with the BR at ranges that I shouldn't be. In short I am bad at this game but I enjoy it
