For some reason Xbox sent me another digital code for Fallout 3. So I'm giving it away here.

Quote to reveal.

Edit: Never mind, the code was just resent.

Any info on when US retailers should start receiving shipments?

If any of NYC-GAF has any helpful info on finding a copy it'd be much appreciated 👀

This isn't an error. This is part of their holiday sales on new games and preorders.

But why would some people be getting like, half the game's price discounted, while others get only $10 off (which is what it showed when I looked, and I've had Prime for quite a while).

Seems like $30 off has to be an error.

Has this been posted yet? Never got to check out youtube vids before they were taken down

He hacks a computer that has some text but skips it after 2 seconds, otherwise nothing spoilery
Great video. Loving the atmosphere and the soundtrack. The night sky also looks really good. The more I see of the game, the more excited I get. I feel Bethesda did themselves a disservice by showing too little.

Not from what I have been told. It uses some algorithm based on how much you buy + membership time + some other factors.

Why? It will still sell like crazy and this way they'll let every single player enjoy the world for the first time, with your own range of emotions and sense of awe without having the feeling of 'Oh, I have seen this in that trailer!'

I'll be honest...I am not really a fan of the gunplay...yes it's better, but part of the reason I liked New Vegas/3 was the jankiness of it, and the idea of using Vats just to destroy them. Maybe I just need to play it, but the more I see and learn about this game...the less I am hyped by it. No karma, not a fan of the new dialogue wheel, the "SPECIAL" system which is just condensing all the skills into it to make it more like Skyrim...and I enjoyed Skyrim, but with Fallout I wanted choices, karma and a morality system. I bet the game will still be good, but it is just not the same.

wait there's no karma and morality anymore?

People keep mentioning "no karma" as a flaw, but what the hell did karma do in Fallout 3? I honestly have zero recollection of it, other than seeing "you've lost karma" when stealing shit.

If you were heavily on either side of the karma scale, I think it influenced what conversation options you had. It also influenced what kind of perks you could choose.

LOL if there is no Karma / Morality and the speech options do not make it clear that I am using my charisma/intelligence to sway them my way my preferred play style is kind of useless :P

Nevertheless, I will do my best to be a pure hearted wastelander that helps as many people as possible (steals from some people now and again because, hey! who doesn't!) and will talk you under the table :P

well. That at least made me steal less often.

Do we even know if our actions have consequences? Will towns, people, entire areas remember things we did, and hate us?
