The wait for this game is just terrible, I am literally counting down the seconds. I am happy that in a couple of hours I will go to bed and I am one day closer, I am happy that I will have my wisdom teeth extracted on the 11th so I can play. I'm happy that all my classes have tests this week and this gives me strength to move mountains, check and grade everything before fallout releases, nerd rage!

Well, it's a single-player RPG, so unless your PC falls notably short of the recommended requirements, there is no reason to opt for a console version.

It just determined what characters would join you and what Three Dog would call you. Not a big deal. In new Vegas I think it impacted the ending a bit, but nothing special that couldn't be handled through other means if they wanted to. It's no loss.

hahahah makes me feel like the day that majors mask was released, I cycled to the shop as fast as never before. Good to feel excited over something again and it's even better to know that there are more people that have the same feeling.
I've been checking loads of tests already and my students are even saying that I've never checked them as fast as this period (little do they know their teacher is going to call in sick after the wisdom teeth surgery and he's going to do some wandering

Probably just changing the release to 9PM PST to coincide with 12AM EST release. Been pretty standard for many big releases for a while now. Based on your location of course.
My countdown timer is ending at 9PM PST on the 9th.
Fuck yeah.
Edit: Wait, I thought this was moved up to coincide with the NZ unlock time at first glance. We can still VPN and unlock it then, right?
The countdown timer still suggests that it unlocks at midnight November 10th. Unless they plan on unlocking it sometime before then, in which case would be pretty awesome..

Weird hearing so many Skyrim sound effects though! Definitely makes sense to re-use assets, just makes my brain freeze up since it associates them with a high fantasy game =P

The only thing dialog box made me do in NV was look up online what the best choice would be, I'd rather have it this way honestly, I can just play the shit without worrying about the consequences of my words.

PC and this isnt even about the graphics.Yes,the better textures and stuff are great,but the mods man,there are simply a lot of mods that are not gonna be possible on the consoles. Tower defense/base building minigame,sprinting,grenades on a separate hotkey etc? These were all mods for New Vegas.Can't wait to see what the modders come up with for this and while it's great that people will be able to experience some of it on consoles,lot of those will be impossible because of hardware limitations,not to mention all the fan patches that fixed bugs Bethesda never did.

Just being able to play and respond my way without it changing the course of the game, sometimes I wanted to be an asshole, but the outcome was something I didn't want, so I would have to play nice so I could do a better side quest, or chr my way around a shitty mission. Now I can tell someone to fuck off and the game keeps moving, I like that.

For me it's Xbox or PS4. I know they will be close but knowing how things are lately on consoles will the ps4 version run better? Idk.

Personally, I like consequences in my RPGs, especially unforeseen ones. The faction system in NV was way better than Karma. I hope there's a similar unseen mechanic working in the background, but I'm not holding my breath. It won't impair my enjoyment if there isn't.

I can't decide myself I would prefer PC but I'm worried my 660ti won't run it well. I'm hoping for parity like destiny so I can go with the Xbox one version. Plus I want to keep the ps4 in my office so I can play cod on the gaming monitor.

Tempted to pre order on amazon to get the prime discount, but seeing as it will probably arrive in the mail around the time I go to work I'd rather just pick up in the morning to play a bit before work.

There was a Bethesda post the other day. Cant find the link on mobile. Basically three times as many as Fallout 3, a brand new licensed track from the Wonder Woman actress of all people, and they finally managed to get Orange Coloured Sky.
Orange Coloured Sky was the super catchy one they used for the New Vegas TV spot but was never actually in the game ;(

Yep, got the game and season pass for $67 through best buy and the game should be arriving about the time I need to go to work.
Gonna be a long wait for 3AM Wednesday morning when I get home and can finally play. But worth it to essentially get the season pass for ~$10.
