For what it's worth, in interviews with the voice director and actors they've specifically mentioned that problem and said they tried very had to avoid it.

Yeah, from what I've seen they don't seem to have that problem. What you select is pretty much how he responds, and the selection seems more than one word, usually a sentence.

Sounds good, glad to hear they made it a point to focus on.

Same here. Just the placement, the color, the font...every choice screams "PLACEHOLDER". FO3 interface was ugly too, but this is whole new level. I am just glad I will be able to mod that shit out.

Not to be only negative, I enjoyed the ambient music again and can feel the atmosphere. This game will be typical terribad bethesda nonsense, but I will love the shit out of it.

Some people aren't a fan of the new interface, specifically for looting and such but I welcome it over the previous games where it would pause the game and take up the entire screen when looting items. The less interruptions the better. It also seems like VATS is sped up just a tad, which is good. Could just be my eyes playing tricks.

What is the point of saying the map is x amount larger than fallout 3 when the amount of wasted space with water just ends up making it the same size.

Someone was pretty convinced this wasn't the whole map a day or two ago, looks like they were wrong. Shame to see that much ocean taking up space but eh, doubt the map size is problematic at all. FO 3 and NV were big enough.

What's wrong with it?

The font choice seems out of place. The bottom of the screen is full of information but there's none at the top, there's weird alignment all over... just a lot of seemingly small things that build up.

Quick example: why doesn't the "HP" label align with the health bar properly? Just minor stuff like that just makes it look very unpolished.

Judging by the Perk selection, water isn't necessarily unexplorable space, so it's hard to say how much of that is actually boundaries.

To be fair, it was pretty easy to have a surplus of ammo and resources in vanilla F3/NV.

It's not too surprising. Last time I played new Vegas I had 100s of most ammo types I regularly used. I think I had over 1000 micro fusion cells.

Hopefully there are underwater bases and such. Being able to dive isn't really that great if the whole ocean is just literally ocean floor and junk.

FO1 and FO2 never really had ammo scarcity problems either. It seems to be a flaw in all the games.

In FO1 I just get Ian to do all the work in the beginning areas while I run away and only fire a shot or 2 if I really need to.
