I was kinda annoyed by how much the same map is played back to back, in Slayer at least.

Halo 3 did had probably launch with 3 or 4 more maps than Halo 5 (to be fair to Halo 5, Reach and Halo 4 had IMO a weaker launch lineup for maps, and Halo reach is even worst than Halo 5) but is that Half of the maps of Halo 3 were good to be played in team slayer or BTB.

Maps like High ground, Valhala, Isolation, Construct, Snowbound and last resort played good either on BTB or Social Slayer.

It doesnt bother the map rotation based on the past two Halo, but it is still find it weird that 343 didnt launch the game with a Social Slayer playlist, something where I dont have to go beast mode every game....like this one:

Some of my friends keep complaining about the radar in Arena. They say its pretty much useless now!

For me though, I think it's fine! It saved my ass lots of times, specially from ambushes!

I really enjoyed the Halo 2 one I had when I was younger. My brother and I pored over it, and the overhead views of the maps were very cool. These days with Youtube guides and free online walkthroughs they're less useful.

True that. But like, I make a pretty good case for why the CE guide is a solid collectible, and I show the exclusive REQ pack and stuff that you get with it... Not that everybody needs a guide, but people who want more Halo stuff will enjoy it.
 
I'm really enjoying the feel of breakout. It took me quite a few games to adjust to the change in pace, but I really like the unique look in the maps, as well as the round pacing. Maybe it's because it kind of reminds me of Gears's Execution mode.

I do think having it in the Team Arena rotation is doing it a disservice though.

If I had the space I'd probably buy a lot more Halo stuff... but at this point I've just given up on more plastic and paper stuff junking up my life. All digital novels and games for me is A-OK.

I think the more I play, the more I actually prefer Warzone assault over Warzone. It's the spiritual successor to Invasion. I really prefer defense over offense though, because it's less of a meat grinder and the frailty of the core adds an interesting dynamic. A shame that you only get one side per game, but they go so long it's probably for the best.

Having a few more options for getting into the final base would be nice, though.
 
I sure hope they look at mixing up the power weapons in each map... I really enjoyed the hydra launcher on regret

And for the love of God why isn't empire and truth in the team slayer Playlist!!??????? They were so good in the beta and they are no where to be seen here
 
It's been a week and Swat hasn't been fixed and they haven't added more maps into the slayer rotation. They need to do something

I'm praying for them to make a major update not only adding maps or playlists, but mainly to fix an issue most people outside of NA or Europe are having to find games in Warzone or less popular game modes!

I'm having a hell lot of fun in Arena but I fear that, if they don't fix it, when the player base goes down and new playlists arrives we won't be able to play most of it and the game population will disappear... =/

I'm hoping for some sort of announcement on what they are working on patch/map/game mode wise "soon". Hopefully before this Friday lol

This part i dont understand. Why don't they just allow all the Arena maps in all the Arena game modes? It's not like some are too big or not set up for CTF or strongholds etc. Or are they? Think they still havent programmed them for all gametypes and that's it?
 
Just wondering if anyone knows if there is a way to get party chat to come out via the speakers and not the headset. I use my own headphones plugged into the TV and on the 360 I just have the voice chat audio to come out of the speakers and wear the headset around my neck so I can talk.

I've not found a way to do it on the Xbone and it seems like it's not actually an option at all. This sucks because I either have to wear my headphones over just one ear and awkwardly balance it with the headset or just not get game audio if I want to chat with my friends.

A google search just brings up a bunch of people having this problem for as early as launch. And I don't have a kinect so I can't use that as my mic and get audio through the TV. It seems super weird to remove this option that was in the 360.

Rage moment: was playing warzone having a crazy awesome game (25-2) and we about to destroy the core (also using a ultra rare win victory) and it boots me. Fucking Christ

Totally agree, 18m down from 30m (in beta) is a massive jump down... I would be keen for say, 22m.

Then it would still be useful, but not OP (which I reckon it definitely was in Beta).
 
I agree with the guy that said its hard to know where nades are. I have often backed up on a nade even though it was thrown in front of me and went by me, sometimes I just don't see it or hear it.


maybe it was from getting flashed and hit earlier and made my screen blurrier but sometimes also not. Wish we could fix this issue.

I had to watch a few films to even realize how the nade killed me, thought it came in through a upper left window but it actually just came in through the door right in front of me and i didnt see it come in at all even though i was watching for it.

I played eden about 7 out of 10 times today and its a terrible map. Or maybe the variant of it

i want to play the best map fathom that doesn't require clamber or sprint, but nooooo why would I get to play that

Why are these city maps even in the game, there aren't any cities in the campaign. How about a cave level? , how about some snow levels. man, what did 343 do with this game. I can't put my head aroundit


Just cut some campaign stuff out of the campagin and let me play that

cave, construction zone. I think the one base near the end of the game that is circular must be coming as a multiplayer map. The one with the lifts around it.... I would greatly assume.

you guys made a snow level and a huge video about it and then I don't even get a snow level on launch day in arena. Who is in charge of this stuff, blows my mind.

I did exactly this on 360 but unfortunately afaik it isn't possible on XB1.
