Fallout 4 has gone gold; leaked gameplay vids

Alot to ask for, but I've been out of the loop for awhile now and could use a recap. Anyone mind filling me in real quick on any interesting new information? Particularly anything related to base building, factions, companions, or karma.

Is karma confirmed, or was it cut, as it looked?

It was cut from what I've heard earlier in the thread.
 
The stream link is nothing but shady "give us your CC info to make an account to watch" BS for me (on iOS). Can't seem to find any non-shady way to watch. Am I missing something?
 
Anyone else unable to get the stream to actually play? All it'll do for me is just show the spinning circle in a black screen.

I'm using Safari with current flash on a Macbook Pro.

When sites refuse to use HTML5, most people including myself will refuse to download Flash.

It is one of the most terrible things to ever still be on the internet in this day and age.
 
JESUS. Just tuned into the stream and when he turned the camera behind him to that NPC in the letter jacket I got fucking jump-scared. XD The lighting on his face made him look scary as shit.

You pick a word and it tells you how many letters it has in common with the answer ("likeness"). So if Likeness=1, you look for other words that have 1 letter in common with the first one. Then with each successive guess you iterate on the process.

There's more to it than that. The {} symbols and such have meaning too.
 
Anyone know if they toned down the wackiness of dialogue since its voiced now? Are low INT and asshole/rude options still a thing?

Shit you're thinking too specialized. Are dialogue skill checks in general confirmed? I know there were a few charisma skills leaked that seemed dialogue related, but i'm not expecting much personally. Int checks aren't happening though. No chance.

What disappoints me is that chances are we won't have both the charisma choices AND the dialogue choices based off, for example, knowing a lot about computers/robots or being intelligent in general.

Most likely charisma will only dictate if you succeed/fail being a cocky/suave fuck with a person. And they'll go with some number for important characters.

The interface will be real crap if you have to use keyboard buttons in conversations. And even if you can use the mouse, a vertical text line is much better to click instead of an arrow or single word. I really hope for something like SkyUI (one of the best Skyrim mods) in the first weeks.
 
Anyone in the UK using simplygames had their copy ship yet? Mine has been 'Pending Despatch' since yesterday. Hoping they ship today, if Phantom Pain is anything to go by it should arrive tomorrow!

I don't think the kit for Fallout 4 is even going to be available until early next year.
