Do you watch the credits after you beat a game?

I go to a restaurant and get dinner and maybe some dessert if they're Ubisoft credits.

FTFY :p

Rarely watch credits. I drop the controller and then keep myself busy with other things while listening to the TV to make sure there isn't a special scene afterward.

I always let them play in their entirety the first time I beat a game, but unless they're showing artwork or scenes during it I just listen to the accompanying music while I focus my eyes on something else. When there is something to look at I always watch it.

If it's just a list of names, no. I'll let it roll while I do something else.

if there is concept art, game screens, etc.....anything else of interest, I'll watch them.

Yep, same with movies. I like to pay respect the people who put the time and effort into entertaining me.

Yes. Feels so satisfying after beating a game. The ending music too..

I felt like I had no choice during the NES, SNES, Sega days. I stopped for a while. I do it alot more now tho thanks to Portal.

Not unless they're interactive or unskippable. If I find out that there is some secret after the credits I'll just go YouTube it.

Yup.

All the smash games are a good example of credits i've watched/read thoroughly.

Splatoon, NSMBWii, etc. also have good interactive credits.

Edit: Also portals, because of the catchy songs.

Sure, but I definitely appreciate companies that let you fast-forward credits more. Or if they're interactive like Bayonetta, which is just great. :)

If I can skip the credits, I do. But when I can't, I usually sit brought them until it redirects to the start screen or I realize I have to restart the console. Some of the old school RPGs were that way.

Watch a little if the music is good and it's nice when devs put some pictures up. I like letting them roll all the way, kinda out of respect for the devs.

Almost as a courtesy, yeah. Although even then it isn't a case of 'watching' as much as just letting it play through. Unless it's one of those ridiculously long credits sequences Ubisoft games have.

I usually sleep during them.

I mean, did the entire population of France really work on Child of Light?

Always. It's my chance to relax and reflect on the game, be happy about the little win of finishing something, and think about what to do next. The tranquil credits moments are kind of my reward to myself for winning. I also enjoy reading through the names and seeing if I recognize anyone.

Sometimes it can get on my nerves though. Rayman Origins was like that, and I think a lot of Ubisoft games are supposed to have the same long-credits issue. After a while it's just annoying. I get it, I get it.

I do... But only because I got burnt by 100% completion trophies that don't unlock till the end of the credits. Tomb Raider DE did this.
The "No Stone Left Unturned" trophy didn't pop although I got every GPS Cache, etc. There's no way to get it without replaying. Deleted the game and started watching every credit roll afterwards.

I just let it play until they're over for the occasional post-credits save, etc. I don't watch them as they're often far too long due to the fact that big games are made by people in like 15 countries nowadays.

It depends. For a game that I loved playing, the credits are often a good time to decompress and reflect on the experience I just had. Most recently, The Witcher 3 was great for this, I finished it after roughly 100 hours and it was nice to just sit back in that moment and appreciate the soundtrack while thinking about how my journey with these characters was over (I read the novels and replayed the other games just before it came out too).

Mass Effect 1 was fantastic in that regard also. It had a perfect choice of music to follow up a very suspenseful and thrilling finale after being inducted into this awesome universe to think about.

Unless it's an ubisoft game, yeah.

Fuck the latest rayman games and Scott Pilgrim game credits, it's ridiculous.

Most of the time, yeah.
But I do something else while they play.

Except Ubisoft games. I don't have the time for 5 hours of credits

Hell yeah I do. Someone poured years of their life, their passion and their talent to bring me this experience I just played. Whether I like the game or not, I feel the least I can do is acknowledge the individuals that created it. Plus I find it exciting to have your name in the credits for the "I made this!" moment. I'd want someone to see my name even if it wasn't an active acknowledgement. So yeah I watch all the credits even the long Assassin's Creed ones.

Only skip credits on consecutive playthroughs but never on the first one. I just let it roll and think about the experience.

Absolutely. Most of the time there's some great music and at the very least I can respect the amount of time and people put into making the games.

I watch on the first play through however not on Ubisoft games. Has nothing to do with feelings towards the company or the devs, they just go for. So. Long.

I let them roll, open my laptop and go on neogaf to read what other people think about the game.

And then I find out the game I've been playing is nothing but trash.

Often do but depends on the mood and the atmosphere conveyed by the credits. Last time I did was with GTA V as I had to think about the whole experience.

Yes, every single time, even if I beaten the game before. The only time I can remember skipping them was when it was on accident. Idk what it is but I feel a certain obligation to.

Another thing I'll do is I never mess with a multiplayer mode until I've beaten the single player first. So it's pretty much days before I ever touch a multiplayer match in COD/

Till the very end, usually. Weird habit of mine I guess.

I have them play in the background while I browse online. If there's an easter egg, awesome! If not, oh well.

It's actually natured more like this for me
