Fallout 4 has gone gold; leaked gameplay vids

The companion dialogue in that stream is the hokiest, cheesiest garbage I've heard from a game in recent memory.

The footage in that mp4 is definitely lower graphics settings because there's not even dynamic shadows being cast from things, whereas the other stream of the PC version shows them.

edit - maybe not. Might be ultra in the mp4.
 
I fear I won't enjoy FO4 at all. I really did not like 3, despite loving New Vegas. 4 looks to be like 3 more than like NV, which isn't shocking. At least if I wait long enough I can get it for <15$ on Steam.

I for one am very curious how many times we're going to hear the same voices from NPC's and if there will be any really really silly ones. Like the Arnie like voices in Skyrim,lol.

I can't really put my finger on any particular reason.

If I had to guess I'd say 0it probably is weaker writing in 3. I liked a ton of the characters in NV, but none really in 3. I liked playing as a dude who was shot over a poker chip and getting revenge, and didn't like playing as some kid from a vault. Especially when the people in the Vault were all douches. I didn't really care for the search for daddy plot either. The quests in NV were also a lot more fun for me than the ones in 3. Probably again because of better writing. From what I've seen of 4, the dialogue options are even worse this time around.

Fallout New Vegas also had Confirmed Bachelor which added a lot of neat dialogue and romance options. I personally enjoyed being able to play as a gay male and have that reflected in story. Fallout 3 didn't have that IIRC.

I think NV also had more color. Idk... I really loved NV. I played it like 5 times. NCR, Independent, House, Ceaser legion. Both legit and then multiple times using the console to boost all my stats to 10 and be a superman from the getgo.
 
I want 3 mods on Xbox, two of which are likely, one is not.

1. Weapon and Gear condition/repairing
2. Hardcore Mode
3. Somehow, someway, Co-op
 
Noob question.....can you make a Power Armour look completely different from whats shown in the ads? Ive seen some other robots in the game and I was wondering if your PA could look completely different......thx

If it means anything, I think you can be gay with companions and junk in Fallout 4.

3 won't happen. There was a mod a few years ago that allowed you to play online with friends on skyrim and they CAD them within a week of release (this was pre ESO).

I'm glad to see that my spanish is good enough to be called out on it...yes!

Edit: I apologize for the slip up, at times it can be very difficult distinguishing between the two languages when you have lived in Miami as long as I have. "Spanglish" can be considered the unofficial language of South Floridians.
 
Have any of the PC streamers messed around with making the FOV setting larger? Hoping the setting that needs to be modified is already documented prior to launch day.

They want to find a way to Make $ off it. They had ideas and plans for a fallout MMO but never happened

The skyrim mod was really really cool, you'd pop in to where they were and could do whatever you'd like with friends. I was pissed because I bought skyrim the day they took it down.
 
So, I have yet to screenshots with that post-apocalyptic tint to the environments. All I see so far is sunny, clean-looking environments. I loved the green and orange tint F3 and NV had.
 
2 questions on characters:

1. Can you respec?

2. Do you need to get Perks earlier in the line to get the ones lower down or can you select anyone? (ie: level 10 perks with a level 10 stat)
 
Mods on console will definitely be half assed and geared towards the visual features of the game. If I were to compare to a previous implementation, I would say unreal tournament on PS3. Never used it myself but I assume it was mostly make your own custom character models on pc and import.
 
The "always on good behavior" is killing me. Please, let this just be the intro to a conversation.
 
What is the NPC follower limit in the game? Dog plus one additional? Does the CHA stat limit the number of followers?
