I plan to completely avoid review scores before I play the game, which likely means avoiding the OT on Monday. Not because I'm particularly influence by review scores in most cases, but because I just don't want my experience in any way colored by whether the game is "supposed" to be good or bad. I just want to play the game for myself. I'm already playing it no matter what.

The only thing I worried about my experience being colored by was game map size which was spoiled when some one put the size in the title on a reddit thread. So, too late. Reviews won't bother me cause I'm pretty confident I'll like it regardless of reviews. But map size is something I'm sensitive to but I'm pretty sure if you didn't tell me it was small or big and just let me play the game it wouldn't even bother me too much. Well maybe because I have noticed when I play the game I try not to unravel the map too quick (in any open world game). I hate the idea that I might learn all the map at once basically. But, once again, too late.
 
From what I've seen on streams, this is definitely a good game, so I'm not worried. I'm expecting a prettier, bigger Fallout 3, and that is exactly what we're gonna get.
 
What are the clothing/armor options like in Fallout games? Wondering if I can expect a step up from The Witcher 3 in terms of appearance

Any links to free VPNs to use for unlocking the game early? Tuesday is a busy day for me but I have all of Monday off so I'd love to get playing early.
 
Wait so this is unlocking midnight NZ time if you have a vpn? My vpn only has AUS options, would that work for me? I guess I'd have to wait a few hours more but would be great to play after work on Monday
 
I hope I enjoy this game. Fallout 3 I spent the first few hours modding the visual and then got stuck in some subway station maze a couple of hours later into the game. I never got out.
 
Watching an XB1 stream and it looks really great to me. I don't see having any real complaints at least in terms of the basic look and gameplay. quote if you want the url.

Why would I lie? I'm not Maiq, Mr. Howard and I'm not trying to sell the game to anyone. These are simply my experiences.

So far I'm very pleased with how dense the vegetation is. I'd even go as far as saying it's beautiful for a PS4 open world title. I'll play a shit Ton more tomorrow but it's damn good so far.
Some more negative aspects: Pop in on buildings doesn't look nice - a bunch of detail appears when the player is very close. At least you can enter most smaller houses without having to enter a seperate cell with additional lpading times.
Lipsync and facial animations look like crap for the most part. Not that it ever ruined Bethesda titles before but it could use some work.
The map doesn't look too big but the locations are way more interesting, imo.

No last name entered. I'll speak with Cadsworth again but it didn't work before.
 
I'm guessing the robot won't call me by my name. In every Bethesda game I make up ridiculous names because they are never used. My last New Vegas playthrough was with Mr. Picklefingers.

Well , there are underground areas regardless map size , for mi it looks a fine size map

Why are you so clandestine about a streamer that's streaming on Twitch with the actual game name? It's gonna get shut down just based on that.

If that is the case and NPC and my dog behaves like they do not give a fuck each other , I will call my dog Ellie.
