Just finished my placement matches for Shotty Snipers, got Diamond. One thing I feel is that the maps do not work that well for that gametype. It needs maps that are a bit more open with more lines of sight. A person could just run around with the Shotgun and dominate without ever pulling out the Sniper (which really, was never the case in previous Halo titles).

I cashed in all 104k REQ points in a veritable bonanza of spending. 3 Gold packs and however many Silver packs that leaves later and I have.. and OK haul. Some nice certifications. No DMR. I did get the Upgraded Thrusters armor mod which seems a little much. Reduced cooldown on the thrusters, increased sprint speed, and shields recharge while sprinting.

P.S. I've encountered an interesting bug. On two different occasions, I have thrown a grenade and had two come out. Both times I had two grenades, and both times after I hit "Throw Grenade" once, I was left with 0.

I've downloaded several games in that timeframe. I'm at 93% on halo 5 finally so I'll hopefully be on within the next hour or 2 (not joking it took half an hour to jump from 91 to 93).

GT: Dedvalve if anyones interested. I hope the PS microphone that came with the PS4 works on the xbox controller since mine didn't come with one for some reason.

When I'm rolling solo I've found Warzone Assault much more fun. You don't need as much communication or coordination, since it's pure attack/defend with no bosses.
