Impressions so far after ~5 hours played:
-Graphics are fine; nothing too impressive but they get the job done and there are some pretty sights to admire. The only thing that feels really ancient are the textures (hoping for a texture pack).
-Gameplay it's awesome. The new fps system is great and fights feel a lot more fluid.
-Conversation system it's pretty basic. I can't understand why they removed the ability to talk again to NPC's and choose different subjects, I mean it's a lot of dialog lines that you won't hear and are totally wasted.
-The world is pretty amazing, there's always something in the horizon that makes you wanna keep playing.
-The gun/armor mod system it's pretty deep. I still haven't done much crafting, but there are a lot of options.
-The settlements are cool, still too early for a complete veredict on this one but building stuff it's easy and fun.
In conclusion I think it is an amazing game. I'm enjoying it a lot more than I thought I would.

Watching a friend play on his stream, and i was laughing at the story. Yet the game still got good reviews. It's funny how one game will get a pass for bad story, and another will not. Regardless of it's importance to the whole package.

Some of the lighting is strange. I picked fair skin for my guy, and he looks like a zombie in the dialog so far. Like gray, dead skin. Lip sync is way off too.

How is the baby color supposed to work? I'm playing as a black woman with a white father and my baby doesn't look mixed at all. Which can of course happen in reality but I was hoping it would take that into account.

Game is running smooth so far, fingers crossed. At a steady 30fps, no dips but no big fights as yet. Graphics are a mixed bag, some interiors look bad but in the wasteland, it looks beautiful. I think it's mainly due to the lighting and the art direction.
I've barely scratched the surface and I already know I'm going to love this game. Bethesda have done amazing job with the atmosphere and overall setting. I'm a huge exploration fan and I can't wait to see what Bethesda has in store.
