83 minutes of fucking downloading left. Oh well, my fault for not starting it earlier. I'll fire it up in the morning. Thanks to this well timed cold, I have a solid excuse for staying home tomorrow....

my buddy ordered me a pipboy edition that arrives tomorrow....hopefully. i kind of want to shake him by the collar and be like "i could be playing right now! this is why i go digital, you really thoughtful son of a bitch!"

I'm specifically trying to be awesome

When the wasteland wants me to die I will survive, maybe by accident, and find an extra 20 bottlecaps in my pocket. Everyone will know my name and want to be my friend, though out of my earshot they'll wonder aloud to one another how I've managed to last this long. I fear nothing, because you can't shoot luck and you can't punch charm.

Really I just wanted to make a build that was completely ridiculous to immerse myself in this world for the first time. Especially a kind of build that you can't really make in other games. I have no real clue how it'll play out and that is a nice feeling. I plan to avoid combat as much as possible, and just focus on big spikes of damage that seem to come from nowhere when I do get into a fight. Count on leveling up with Idiot Savant (I'm never raising intelligence any further). I like to think that when people see me with my dog they understand the dog is the smarter one. Mostly I'll talk and luck my way into a fortune.

The first perk I unlocked was Ricochet, an absolutely nonsensical ability that I have no control over whatsoever. It has already saved my life twice. I cannot stress enough how little sense it makes. Of course I will get the other ranks of it as soon as I can unlock them, and I feel certain it will be the cornerstone of my build, seeing as how I won't be able to choose when or where it is activated, how I could clearly be investing in more valuable perks, and how much it doesn't make any sense. And it will be glorious.

This is my 4th actually. I've done in for Oblivion, Fallout 3, Skyrim and now Fallout 4. Bethesda is hurting corporate America. (Though my vacation starts Thursday D: )
 
I think it may have been faster to just wait till it released to download it, this decrypt is damn slow. It only took 20 minutes to download for me.
