Why? It finally feels like what actual power armor should feel like, a walking tank, instead of an ugly suit that behaves identically to a leather jacket to conventional body armor. Not really a fan of how power armor is implemented in this game (or at least how it's introduced). I hope I don't feel gimped by not using it. I only used it in the beginning to killin that town. The Deathclaw
So say I stored a waterpump. How do I get it back to place it somewhere?
its official. fallout 4 has beaten GTA V on steam.
Honestly didn't expect that.

Played for 2-3 hours. Feels good to play more Fallout, New England setting is promising. Crafting capabilities alone are almost overwhelming, seems like a real time sink but I'm starting to mess with weapon upgrades and it's a cool system. These games are always a slow burn for me, hard to form too many concrete impressions this early and I have some hangups but overall it's been positive and I'm looking forward to really digging into the world.
Already encountered one of the more charming Fallout bugs I've come across - after meeting Dogmeat he immediately started powerbombing roaches from 30 feet in the air to their death. Will probably put that one up on YouTube. I've had my share of bugs with the series from the amusing to the debilitating so I'm definitely saving often. Unfortunately saving on PS4 isn't as simple as it should be, feels like the PS3 process for some reason.
can't target limbs with stimpaks?
Because this is a modern game, I can modify my characters face later on... right?
Do you have the nades equipped?
Can't you drag their corpses? Hold A/X
The game has had many small bugs for me so far, some amusing, but no large or damaging bugs as yet. Just a lot of slop, like long inexplicable pauses in dialogue, the wrong subtitles playing for dialogue being spoken, characters getting stuck in funny places, enemies sometimes healing to full for no reason, if I queue up food eating in my pip boy sometimes one of the foods I ate had its pending effects erased by eating another one, sound effects not playing, etc.

What difficulty you playing on? I'm on Very Hard and definitely finding it challenging. Is this game super hard or what?
Been playing for maybe 3 hours and I´m get killed A LOT.
About 7 hours in and level 9 playing on hard and getting my ass kicked routinely. Everywhere i go there's another legendary or supermutant or mirelurk or group of ghouls waiting to kick my ass. My ammo is extremely limited, only my weakest guns have ammo right now. Also very few explosives which can help a lot in a pinch, but I am almost always low or out.
I'm just scraping by. I'm not ready to lower the difficulty because I like that the world feels dangerous.. But progress can be slow.
Yeah, I can't imagine lowering it based on what I've encountered so far. Some stuff is super tough and takes a bunch of tries with novel idea to get past, but I really like that. Sort of scared to bump up to Survival honestly.Personally I am in love with the fact that on higher difficulties I'm not some sort of unstoppable upper-god stimpak swilling Jack Of All Batmen like in Fallout 3. This game is real hard on Survival mode but its forced me to get creative and to improvise and improve, and that's cool.
Yeah, I actually really like it. I'm going to invest in it either as a secondary aspect of my build way down the line or for a second character someday. You can kind of set out toward a goal, "park" and pop out to explore the area, then run back and hop in if it looks like it's going to be a firefight. Why? You can completely avoid using it altogether if you don't want to.Is there a way for me to easily switch between normal armor and power armor?
I just don't want to feel like i have to, or really should, use power armor when setting out on a tough challenge.
He came in through the side. :lol
Here's a video of me getting ambushed by that super mutant. :lol
Do you think it is worthy to invest in charisma playing on survivor?
Yeah...I think I'll go ahead and wait before picking this up.
Thanks guys. Game owns, no bugs so far. Killin some raiders in a coolant cap factory with a pistol. I don't really understand the upgrade system yet, I just keep adding stars to my SPECIAL. Idk. It's really fun.
Can someone remind me where it's safe to store excess stuff? I'm quickly becoming overburdened in this world as my OCD makes me pick up everything I find. I'm very early in and wondering if I can just throw all this stuff in a random file cabinet or will it disappear after X amount of days?
