Nintendo Direct coming November 12 [Over]

Bought this recently with the intention of finally figuring out why this thing is worth two billion dollars.
Closed the game 15 minutes later feeling like an old fart who is not with it anymore.
Meh it's clearly Minecraft, so I guess that's getting the most attention tomorrow.
You see, Pikmin 4 might not come out anytime soon(even if Miyamoto claims it's almost done) and we don't even know on which console it's coming out.
I was/am hoping that the partnership with DeNa and the new account system will somehow tie into Wii U so making purchases tied to an account and not hardware. Thats what DeNa partnership has to do with Wii U
Yes I was hoping/expecting something other than F2P and yes F2P does minimize my pleasure with it, usually it's pretty egregious.
I'm tempering expectations if something like Minecraft coming to Wii U is the megaton headline they are going with.
Real question is what's going on with your post? Does any sort of criticism for Nintendo immediately spark you up into a frenzy?
You might not go into the thread but when you get on gaf be prepared to see such thread titles as:
- '5 months later and that's it?'
- 'nintendo behind the times again'
- 'where is _____, does nintendo not care anymore?"
- "nintendo should just go 3rd party, that's all they'll be good for'

_/¯Potentially: Unknown Smash DLC (likely including a character or two or more), Twilight Princess HD, and Minecraft is enough of a "headline" in any normal world.
Especially if they all come out within the next month or two...

If Zelda "Wii U" gets anything it'll be a name for the sole purpose of giving people something else to call it besides Zelda "Wii U."
NX is getting revealed next year and it's about time they start distancing the next proper Zelda from the Wii U brand. That way we won't have to keep calling it Zelda U/NX.
I'm hyped either way. If they show it, it means I get to see new Zelda footage and it's most likely being dual-released. If they don't then we have hope that this could live up to it's true potential and be NX exclusive. It's unlikely, but there are so few "Wii U fans" to actually upset, and most would forget and have no hard feelings the instant they saw a name/release date/footage in all it's beautiful glory. This game has so much raw potential it makes me sick to my stomach with hype.

First of all, purchases are already tied to the account and not hardware, it's just the account which does not support linking more than one Wii U and one 3DS.
Secondly, did you miss news on Nintendo Account/My Nintendo? Because Nintendo and DeNA are actually bringing what you want on current Nintendo hardware, complete with cloud saves and cross-hardware saves.

The one time I played Minecraft I roamed around killing cows before turning it off forever.

I don't think Sakurai would go after most votes. This is the guy who added Duck Hunt duck and dog. Thats what makes me actually think Minecraft guy would have a chance, because he would add something new.

I'm actually surprised by how many people want the next Zelda installment to be entirely removed from WiiU and brought over to NX.
I mean, weren't there Kingdom Hearts fans that bought a PS3 specifically just to play the next installment in the series, and that never happened. Are those fans happy KH3 skipped an entire generation just to be on better hardware.
I guess the main difference is the low Wii U install base compared to that of the PS3. Less people will feel the burn if it takes the leap??

See, I never got that. When I was a kid I loved Legos. My daughter still loves Legos. I use to build all kinds of crap in second life. I can lose a whole afternoon building stages in Mario maker. Teraria was my jam . If they ever finish Starbound, I'll be all over it.
There's just something about Minecraft specifically that flips the Nope switch in my brain.

They weren't happy. I certainly was not happy at the lack of KH3 on PS3, neither was my cousin or my uncle. It's why I hold some pessimistic views of Square and their delays going on forever and still don't expect KH3 any time soon.
Id just think he would add Minecraft guy due to his bad taste.
