Nintendo Direct coming November 12 [Over]

Announced on January of 2013(in the very same Direct XCX was shown for the first time, I think) and it released on September of 2013, when it was announced there were a few screenshots only, not actual video until months later, if I recall correctly.

I really don't see why what I said is so controversial. Freaking Infamous SS on PS4 has rough spots, Zelda sure as hell will unless they go extremely surreal with the artstyle like a Wind Waker or Okami.

For sure. Xenoblade has a couple but they're placed in spots you'll not stick around for long periods like the hangar, but the rest of the over world looks fantastic and where they put all their energy towards.

I think it's pretty obvious that Twilight Princess HD will be used to 'tide us over' in 2016 until Zelda Wii U / Zelda NX arrives in 2017. Could well be wrong but that's my sense.

Zelda U in 2017 would be crazy considering it was originally promised for 2015. I know Zeldas go through delays a lot but we had a promised year and to miss it by two years would be nuts. I have a feeling the only reason its being held back is to have a killer ap for NX launch, much like TP for Wii. The NX must be coming by next Christmas. TP HD is just easy money and easy filler, not some hold me over because Zelda U is still a years away. At least that's my opinion anyway.
 
Hoping for and expecting Twilight Princess HD and an update on Zelda U at the same time. Would love some Star Fox footage to see how the extra months of polish have paid off and of course unannounced titles like Pikmin 4.

Hashimoto has retweeted the Direct announcement - Star Fox Zero update is a given, I think.

I think they announced Zelda Wii U way earlier than they would have because it was doing poorly and they wanted to build hype. I am thinking at least 8 months earlier.

I believe so, though admittedly it's also hard to tell with him too cause he loves to retweet Nintendo related things and is a big fan of the company. He's a fan of a lot of things and retweets a lot of things he's super interested in. But seeing as the JP direct will talk about at least a couple of titles up to spring, I can easily see that and TP HD.

It's pretty clear the release date for Zelda U is whatever the release date for the NX is. If the NX was not launching in 2016 I really doubt they would hold it back for so long.
 
Why would they not talk about Star Fox Zero, it's like the only major Wii U game left that isn't a remake.
Wellll... technically not a remake.
 
I really want to get back into playing splatoon so I hope they have some cool stuff. My save file got corrupted and I lost interest for a while but I really do love the game.

Wow that sucks. I'm still dreading the day a big game for me gets a save file corrupted or I experience a game breaking glitch.

I don't think that's obvious at all.

It's Zelda's 30th anniversary. They're not keeping it to Twilight Princess HD and Hyrule Warriors Bad Version. I'm not saying Zelda Wii U absolutely cannot be delayed, I am saying your reasoning is full of holes.

There's a huge difference between being realistic and being a sadsack that just tries to maintain low expectations for themselves by trying to create inane narratives.

"Zelda will be delayed" makes sense as a theory.

"Twilight Princess HD obviously exists because they're going to delay Zelda Wii U and this is their way of distracting people!" is silly nonsense.

Guys, we will get TPHD this or next week if you ask me... and Zelda U next year, they wont have 30th anniversary without a new game...

But I got a question for you guys, what if you buy Zelda U and have it connected to MyNintendo and once NX hits you get Zelda U for NX for free (or a small amount) I think that way nobody should get mad :P

Yep. I don't believe they'll miss the 30th anniversary as it's a very huge milestone.
 
My prediction for the Nintendo Direct: Smash ballot results (probably Wolf, Shovel Knight and K. Rool). New amiibo line (probably for Mario Tennis) and the big reveal at the end....... Metroid Dread.
 
So is there a chance for Zelda U? I know it was delayed to 2016, but was it ever said anywhere that we would not see it before 2016?
Like could we get a glimpse tomorrow?

I just want one announcement to not get leaked.

Ryu being in the game was amazing but I really hate that he was spoiled just because seeing him on the stream for the first time would've genuinely made me lose my mind.
