The rumour two months ago said Shovel Knight, but then there was another rumour last month saying Inkling. I'm hoping both.
Hopefully they meet in the middle and we get a inkling with a shovel.

There was the dev trying to drum up ballot votes online months ago. There were probably /v/-style nonsense rumors in the interim. there's been nothing even remotely supportable.

I'll be able to watch the first half before I have to leave. Generally in Directs the first half has the megatons since it's the Japan news. The NOA/NOE segments in the second half of the Direct generally don't have any new announcements. Then again they could have completely changed up the format of the Direct and we'll have to wait and see if they keep the same format

I'm doubting now that Zelda WiiU was ever coming out in 2015. It'd be pretty sad if they promised so forcefully knowing that it would never come out but perhaps they were desperate to kickstart the Wii U.
We have only ever seen a trailer of the game with that peahat on steroids and footage of Link running or riding around a grassy field with Miyamoto and Aonuma narrating. The game never been playable in public and never even got an official title.
The other WiiU game that was definitely going to be out this year has also been delayed until who knows when. I'm guessing Star Fox Zero won't be out until 2016. At least they have Xenoblade. I hope it does decently considering it will basically have the holiday period to itself.

well, the reaction to it being in the japanese version did. have we seen what'll happen when it's censored/translated yet? i'm sure it'll be entertaining either way.

- Metroid Prime Federation Force new contents announcement (I need Deathmatch style Online mode, not Grif ball thing)
