yep, they stated they had several games unannounced but coming this year and this could easily be one of them... could see it coming out in a week or two even. Would be a good title to have in retail for the holidays IMO

Well, Wind Waker HD released 2-3 weeks earlier on eshop, IIRC. Always a possibility TPHD is 2015 on eshop, 2016 at retail (with a zelda 30th collector's edition). More likely is TPHD is feb 2016, just like majora.

And yeah, I want Rhythm Heaven +, but I'm not betting on it. Either way, eshop is a perfect fit for it.

About the Smash online... there really need to make some updates there towards playing with friends.... I cant believe that after a year, there no way to join my friend in the same way that I do in splatoon. If I wanna play with someone on my friend list, I only can play alone with him, or with another friends, but not two plus two random people.... the same when I wanna pair with a friend in 2Vs2....not possible at all... But at this point, I doubt Nintendo cares about changing too much of the online from Smash...

Well, if it's anything like Black/White 2, it'll reuse the same overworld, but that's it. Besides, the two recent Pokemon games lacked extra content outside of the main quest, especially post-game.

Sakurai retweeted the direct. Basically 100% confirmed. Every single direct since smash launch has had some bit of smash news. Every time sakurai retweets a nintendo direct there is smash news. Unless they're just going to announce more mii costumes and amiibo release info, we'll get character news for sure.

My gut feeling says they don't bother with D3 at this point. Heck, they didn't even want to publish it here from what we can see.

Zelda is a big question mark at this point. If it was any time of the year other than the holiday season, I'd say an eShop first release followed by retail a couple weeks later was a solid possibility, but now I dunno. Is it super unlikely to still come out at retail this year? With Minecraft likely hitting next month (unless it's somehow EU only this year but I doubt it) and not even listed by ESRB yet maybe it could be a mid-December release...?

But, Nintendo isn't generally big on those these days. So February is decently likelier if I'm honest with myself, and then Minecraft and some of the aforementioned 3DS games constitute "unannounced games" to release by the end of this year. Except, wait. Picross, RH and Style Savvy can't be amongst those games because he said this in Japan where they were already announced and released.

So. Minecraft...and mystery other game(s) for this year. Unless he meant fiscal year and not calendar year but that didn't seem to be the general interpretation. So. Minecraft. Maybe TPHD still has some hope alive for this year. Maybe my Nabbit eShop game. And I doubt Kimishima meant eShop only games, but I can't say for sure of course...hmmm! So if he did mean this year...it's possible that if TPHD is next year that we might still have some surprises in store.

Also, did Kimi say unannounced 3DS and Wii U game for this year still? Or did be not specify?

We already got remakes of both the N64 zeldas, so I really doubt it. I can see them re-doing OoT in another 10 years though, but it would likely just be an HD port of the 3DS games.
