Nintendo Direct coming November 12 [Over]

It could be a placeholder but that seems extremely unlikely because it was assigned a title-ID and the text literally says "Twilight Princess HD". I guess this means they will be more careful in the future.
I'm guessing one of their server administrators decided to be proactive and knock out the rest of the updates for the year not expecting anyone to find it before it was announced. (Or not realizing it wasn't announced, from what I've read most games don't get a title ID until release is imminent.)

"Finishing off the Wii U" would be fucking ridiculous. It has only been out for three years.

If it wasn't going to be finished off, then explain why this E3 was so underwhelming on the Wii U side of things? Why wasn't Pikmin 4 shown off? Why wasn't Zelda U showed of (which Reggie stated that they had footage ready to show off to people but held of from doing so)? What is Retro up too? What is the 3D Mario team working on?

A lot of questions up in the air and many were not addressed; a sign that they are wrapping up production of Wii U/3DS software and migrating teams to the NX for future software.

Not a bad move, as the Wii U/3DS line up right now is decent but still, they should announce more games.

Leading to more DLC, Pikmin 4 and Twilight Princess HD being the 'big' Wii U announcements make the direct one to look forward too to me at the very least; something telling Wii U owners "We aren't done yet, so here is our support".

I'm shocked we've not seen a Pokemon Pinball XY on the eShop by Jupiter, I mean they transitioned Trozei from DS retail to a 3DS eShop series, why not Pokemon Pinball?

I have no idea. I played both Pokemon Pinball games and collected and evolved every single Pokemon in the Pokedex and I would do it again too if there was a new one.

I guess in terms of sales but the quality has been through the roof.

Wii U is honestly my favorite Nintendo console.

Here are my completely reasonable expectations for today's Direct:

- Mario Paint throwback music creation tool for Mario Maker.
- Zelda HD Collection (OOT/MM/WW/TP/SS) coming in December
- Classic 8 bit 3rd party characters in Smash (Cast of CV3, Snake, Master Higgins, Contra guy, Metal Slime)
- Waluigi Pinball for 3DS launching Q1 2016
- Exclusive Chrono/Mana/FF metaverse crossover from Squeenix
- Star Tropics U Q2 2016
- Mario Kart 8 and Smash 4 GOTY editions
- Mega Man Maker
- Screw it, here's the NX, it's coming out right before E3 with new Zelda and Mario 64 2, so save your money this holiday.

Or, any one of these would be nice, pick one Nintendo!

Did you just...not own an NES or SNES?

Yeah I did. But the Nintendo games on Wii U are better. Imo, of course, but I mean I don't know why I should like those more just because nostalgia or something.

Yeah the third party output is anemic but the first party output is how I define a Nintendo console.

I like the games I play on my Wii U more than NES or SNES.
