Haha your in for a loooong ride my friend.
How far in am I roughly when my objective is to go findor whatever it's called?Virgil in the Glowing Sea
Is there a NG+?
I wanna do the other factions without remaking and doing all the other stuff.
You've got a bit to go!
Something's wrong.
I enjoyed my most recent quest and gotas a companion, so I dismissed Dogmeat to the Red Rocket Station. Then I decided to dismiss Strong to Drive-in theater and headed back to the Station to find Dogmeat.Strong
But he didn't show up. I built a dog house and slept for a few days but nothing.
Is this a possible glitch?
I wish you could clip through Dogmeat. He can easily block doorways.
I can't find Nick![]()
He's not in his office. If I remember correctly, I "released" him as a companion, and told him to go somewhere, but I can't find him anywhere..
Aaargh..
to me makes sense to have radiation separated from the HP pool, like it was in the previous games. and of course getting penalties or dying from it.That's the whole point of RadAway. It's the best implementation of radiation poisoning I've seen in a Fallout game. It just makes sense.
I am. Thanks.are you on PC?
if so, open the console, type in:
prid 00002f25
moveto player
I'm glad I didn't let my initial disappointment sour my experience of the game. It's not perfect, but I'm getting the same happiness I got with Fallout 3 out of the game now. The first hour or so is a slog, but when it clicks it does so in a big way. I think the game also puts new players at a massive, massive disadvantage in terms of resources. I am currently swimming in ammo and stimpaks.
* anyone?-died, how long until they fucking go back to be ''happy''?Mama Murphy
- is there any major missable quest?
56 stimpacks
i switch b/w my sniper 300 ammo, laser pistol 600+ ammo, burst fire pistol 1200+ ammo and shotgun ~280 ammo.
scavenger +high luck is broken.
Slightly Dumb Question. Which would do more, a Weapon that does +25% damage, or a weapon that ignores 30% of the target's Armor. Don't really know how the damage formula works.
Also, I swear my best weapon has to be a 10mm automatic pistol that sets the target on fire for 15 damage a shot. That fire damage must just ignore armor, since the thing tends to be more effective then any non-legendary automatic weapon, even the Gatling Gun.
Oh also, and I'm probability in a minority here; despite being fun games to just explore and wander, aesthetically and stylistically I find Bethesda's famed open worlds to be massively overrated. Fallout 4 to me has no natural believability to most of the landmass. The density of locations means there's no real negative space. There's no coherent flow between set pieces and points of interest. It's like a hundred different points of interest that range from forgettable to interesting made by different people and then all slapped together in a grid. Bringing it up is beating a tired horse, but Wild Hunt really spoiled me in this regard.
I am. Thanks.
New to PC gaming, and have never used a console before.
So, I should open the console with ~ and type in prid 00002f25, press Enter, and then type in movetoplayer? Is that correct?
Okay im gonna say it ,
ghouls are bloody OP as hell.
their lunge is faster than what a vats slowdown can even make up for. ive been slapped so many times now.
its just better to go the traditional zombie killing melee route with them.
Thank you!moveto player, its 2 words. basically the first command spawns nick, the second puts him next to you
and yes. on my keyboard my console opens with "ç" but whatever works for you
does anyone know if Curie SPOILERSis the end of her companion quest? she made it sound like theres more, but it might also just mean "yeah ill still hang out with you if you want"becoming human, well, a human looking synth anyway
You've got a bit to go!
Just shoot their legs out. Legit some of the easiest enemies once you start targeting limbs.Okay im gonna say it ,

Lol I got like 150 stim packs and an average of 400-500 of any ammo that isn't .44.Holy hell. What's your play style?
How did you rack up so much?
Lol I got like 150 stim packs and an average of 400-500 of any ammo that isn't .44.
I got high luck and I stealth when applicable, when I get hurt I usually heal with food for the minor things and only use stimpacks when I'm about to die or a limb might break.
Didn't like Fallout 3 or New vegas much. Loving Fallout 4. But, I am almost overwhelmed by how much there is to do.
I havent even been to Diamond City yet, but have done enough of the Minutemen Missions that Garvey wantsbut its so far Southwest that I can't seem to get there. Trying to go through the city area has been a colossal drain on my ammo, and after 2 hours and countless deaths, I'm thinking that I may not be high enough level to get there at 12.to go to the Castle to retake it,
Also, the relay beacons that unlock distress signals have so much static that I cant hear them, is there a way to amplify them or do you have to just listen SUPER close?
I wish I had thought to do this.
Russian modder began overhauling dialogue UI. If you have the Russian language pack and can speak (there is a way in comments to make it work with any language) http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/619/?
One day we will have:
a) List-based dialogues like older Fallouts (like this mod shows).
b) Since subtitles exist in game, modders can rewrite dialogue options/questions based on summary of what will be said like older Fallouts.
c) Do Intelligent stat check with certain dialogue instead of just Charisma. Not as important since Fo3 and F:NV also used Charisma a lot, intelligence and sneak were much less used.
The game (not so apparent immediately when you start), has a lot of choices that do have impacts on the game quite heavily, even side quests with choices can even change the way the side quest works (like giving an Optional objective based on certain dialogue exploration/choices), the dialogue isn't as bad as people make it out to be if you only judge the beginning. If Bethesda just kept it list-based, made the options a summary of what you're going to say instead of words like previous games, there would have been way less criticism of the dialogue. Thankfully it seems mods will fix that in the future.
Figured id ask again:
Can I have one settler do multiple tasks with no ill effects? Say work food (crops) and a store?! Thanks!
Where can I get theskin suit? I see some people wearing it, but I haven't found it yet on my game except on one NPC.brotherhood
Can't wait until I get the GOTY edition for PC when it comes out. The mods are gonna make stuff so much better.
It works for Fallout 4 for me. Irrespective of real world geography (I have no idea how close Lexington is to Boston in real life), I feel like they do a good job representing the density of the modern world with a huge central city, small suburbs surrounding it, office parks and industrial sectors, etc radiating out from there. For a modern/day future world like Fallout the amount of negative space feels believable to me. Whereas the exact same amount of negative space in The Witcher 3 would have bothered me.
a few places but there is a distress signal that will take you right to one
also a settlement mission in the same place
