Release all of them and I will buy all of them but 4.
I hate the protagonist in 4.
Well, Persona 1 (and by Proxy, SMT) has had a PC port in the 90's. The problem is, Atlus JP simply won't do it. Atlus US (and Sega) has to convince them.
I'm not really seeing the decline in the US. And I agree, they are expanding the userbase. But it's not as if the PC version is going to pull in drastically more numbers.
It's likely going to be 1:1 with the PS4 sales. Which is a huge userbase for titles like this that shouldn't be missed out. The PC market has proven itself.
The thing is, using nearest neighbour sampling on low res 2D sprites embedded in a high-res 3D rendered environment will look terrible. Even more terrible than the current bilinear approach.Eh, it can look good depending on the game. Of course for some game you will prefer nearest upscaling, but for some others, xBRZ works pretty well.
A quality game can't do well without people being "starved" for it?
PC: you like money?
Atlus: Nah fam
Perfect move for NIS. Now only Gust has to follow and all sensible small Jp. publishers will be on Steam. Maybe someday Atlus will wisen up, too.
Gust games already run poorly on consoles.
I fear how a Tecmo Koei PC port of them would turn out

Essentially. It's blown my mind that Sega has stepped in and asked/told Atlus they want to port Persona 5 to Steam and they'll have the Total War/European PC team help them port it.
On the one hand I'd love for this to happen (Gust), but fantastic games like the Atelier series getting TK-quality ports would be a crime against humanity.Perfect move for NIS. I'm not "touchy" at all, I just think about word choices and try to find out the reasoning behind them.Of course it can, but my point was, that people were wanting a game like this, and that obviously helped with it being a success on top of great word of mouth
You don't have to be so touchy, this is the second time you've done that
How can you hate Valvatorez?
More importantly, how can you like that shithead from 3?

Well, they've delayed Persona 5 so many times that maybe sometime before it comes out, they'll announce a PC version.
Thats the exact reason, he's a shit head, and he learns to be less of a shit head. Thats sort of my favorite characters in these games. Valvatorez.....kinda was done as a character, its like if they made master roshi the protagonist. He's good I don't care about him. But I wanna see these shit kids get hit the face by reality and forced to change as a person to get what the want. It was shitty playing through that game and just passing by folks like " damn why the hell you ain't the main character and I gotta listen to this dude and his boyfriend talk about sardines and shit"
In any case, I hope one of the first mods is someone being able to convert the PSP save files over to the PC format.
I love Disgaea 3's MC actually, one of my favorites. Christo takes the spot as my favorite though currently ;p

For the people who hate reconstruction filters for some reason you can at least provide the option of bicubic upsampling.
For real? Red Magnus for life. Christo's got nothing on him. NOTHING!
Where are those from? Looks like the filtering is also on the environment textures, which makes little to no sense. I guess emulator shots? In any case, I vastly prefer xBRZ over what they use in Disgaea PC:

Persona 5's artstyle rendered at modern resolutions would be glorious.
1080p isn't a modern resolution?

C'mon, everyone is rendering at 4k these days
