1 more level until I'm 40. Finally +25% damage. I think I have every +damage effect the game has to offer afterwards. I even do 5% more damage at night. lol

Doing the Silver Shroud quest right now and it's the highlight of the game so far for me.

Is that triggered somehow by the Comic Book store?

This game is probably the first open world game of the generation with a world that makes you feel like you're living in it.

Absolutely. Witcher 3 comes close but doesn't quite hit it for some reason. I could try to analyze why that is, but I am supposed to be writing an annotated bibliography...

Wait this just hit me! This guy right there:

It could be a bit of a stretch but isn't he a reference to the Noodle Shop Scene from the Blade Runner?

Same greeting and (purposely) only understood a simple nod (yes) because Rick couldn't communicate with him properly.

I feel like this game throws too many companions at you, some of which don't have a great reason for following you. Specifically, the two I have gotten around just reaching Diamond City
Piper and the Super Mutant
. In New Vegas the only companions I naturally encountered was Boone, Rex, and the Nightcrawler, the later of which I ignored because Boone was my boy.

That's a nice catch!

I guess it's a good problem to have, but I've had trouble managing who to use. They all have a lot of dialog for areas as well, so I want to build relationships with them though I normally play games like this with one person the whole time.

so does anyone know if it's ok to start going through all the faction quests? does doing some lock out others? i feel like im on eggshells everytime i start one.

Main factions quests are locked and unlock as you progress in the story. It's fairly obvious when you will have to make a choice and reach the point of no return.

I don't have legs? Daaaammmitttt

Anyways, anyone actually want the offmap military bunker location?

Stuff you find indoors (loading screen to get inside) scale according to your level. So someone might try to go and find T-45 if their level are low.

So I just cleared out the
Fort in Show No Mercy
and
it's telling me to go back up the Prydwen to talk to the Elder to finish the mission.

How do I get back up to the Prydwen?? There's to helicopter to take me back.

You can just fast travel there cant you?

ok. im at the beginning of act 2 and ive just started the brotherhood of steel ones and i didnt know if by doing so ive screwed up possibly doing others.

Stupid building limit, just unlocked the biggest stores, I can't build them in sanctuary and can't be bothered building up one of the other settlements

Assign someone to work on them if you haven't already?

Did you assign a worker to them?

Did you have people working them?

Very weird, only like 2 plants in that whole plot am I even able to highlight. So even if I wanted to assign them all, I can't. I can't even move them from their position. When I assigned a person to one of the plants that I could, they only did that plant, instead of a few in the radius as well. At that time I had around 5 settlers. Now I have 9 and they have been auto assigned to that plot, so should be ok as I get more people autoed over there.

I played through the entire Grognak Pip-Boy RPG. What is wrong with me

Edit: The X-01 spawned for me outdoors in an area I should have gone to very early in the game, so it's not just indoors stuff.

So here I was hoping that if I chose to side with the Institute they would make me some snazzy "more efficient" replacement for the Power Armour. Instead I got a vendor that sells a load of shit. So disappointed right now.

Where does assault rifle count to on the perks, rifleman or commando?
It's not really automatic, but I can pretty much spam the trigger like an automatic rifle.

Is the quest
Taking Independence timed at all with Preston and the castle?

It's pretty far southeast and I haven't even gone to Diamond City yet. lol

If it has an automatic trigger (it shoots like a Machine Gun) than it counts for commando but otherwise single tap with single shot Weapons are non automatic

Can I ever carry more than 220 weight and run?
If you have the 3rd Strong Back Perk you can run while holding as much as you want.Although with 10 Strength,2 Strong Back Perks and Deep Pockets Mod on my Leather Armor I hot 410 capacity.

Well if there it, it must be well over 40h+, because that's how long I already have it unfinished lol. I'm slowly making my way towards it, tho. Have EVERY SINGLE LOCATION discovered and explored up to that point horizontally. Only the south left!

Ok I'm about to complete the "Molecular Level" quest
for the Brotherhood. Is this a point of no return, can I do Minutemen and Railroad stuff after going to the Institute?

I need this.

It uses AP though. Eh, not a big deal I suppose.

The 4th perk even lets you fast travel while over-encumbered---truly a hoarder's wet dream comes true, hahaha.

Anyways, anyone playing a low Charisma character in here? I am kind of miffed about how Charisma is tied so closely with stuff like settlements etc etc that it feels like it's a "must" have... making you compromising your other SPECIAL stat.

I am(think it started at 3? Found the bobblehead for it though) and I fully stand by it. Totally ignoring settlements as it's not interesting to me, didn't like the perk tree and they have some incredibly powerful items like grape mentats that give +5 CHA which lets me pass hard checks.

Just got traumatized and annihilated in T60 armor at
Castle
. Stupid ass
Queen.
Calling in air support next time.
