Is there no way to respec? I put like three point into pickpocket thinking it was lock picking, those are three perk points that I'll never use.

??? Can you explain, please?
If a Settlement is producing more water than they need than they will deposit Purified Water into the Workbench and you can sell those for profit if you make a Water Farm (This applies to surplus Food too).

Thanks, I guess I have to mod their default weapon until I rack up guns.

And how can we do this? Because their weapon does not show up when using trade menu... or can we just use a weapon of the same type--like 10 mm pistol with Piper--and the game will consider it as her default weapon still?

If I give a settler any ONE gun. Will that gun have infinite ammo?

According to Reddit, settlers work differently to companions, companions use ammo actively, Settlers do not, however they DO need one piece of ammo to equip the weapon.

So (again according to reddit) give a settler a gun and one bullet for it, they will have unlimited ammo.

You can test it (save first), just give them the gun and the ammo and then hit them to make them try and attack you.

It's been fun playing on saves I know I don't care about since I'll be rolling back. I'm just emptying the aresenal on everything. Mini Nukes for everyone! Gatling Laser is also destroying synths and robots right now.

Just do everything for them up to and including Underground Railroad until you can't anymore and then, heavy spoilers:

Undercover Railroad can't be completed until you've finished Powering Up in the Institute questline so do that mission first until it says to keep working with Father. When you finish Powering Up you'll go to a directorate meeting and be approached by a synth to continue Undercover Railroad. Make a save here so you can finish the Railroad questline or the Institute questline and then roll back.

Ok thanks hope I don't screw this up lol

Just noticed this in my excitement. Their default is not listed :(

Just save often, you can have like 100 of them and just keep notes. I ended up redoing like 3 missions that way but was like an hour to two hours of repeat at most. The things I missed out on for my RR endgame save is doing some more missions for other factions before I severed ties with them but there is no shortage of things to do in the game.

so aparently theres a sidequest about the
diamond city mayor
shooting someone, anyone have that happen, and if so, knows what triggers it?

I did it.

"fuck off stranger this doesnt involve you"

"you stop waving that gun in my face and its gonna involve me"

"whoa whoa...ok ok im sorry"

lol

Silver Shroud Quest

At the end each time I got to the room with Sinjin, Kent and co. they would open fire and immediately kill Kent. I looked online and saw that it's meant to start a dialogue so it was probably glitched as refused to do so. It took about 10 tries but eventually managed to kill all of them before they shot Kent. Took some doing and a lot of luck. Most attempts the guy on the right or Sinjin would shoot Kent as the first shot was fired.

You think that's bad, my games glitched so as soon as I enter the hospital
Kent is shot
:(

OK, just finished all the faction quests and got all the trophies. You can safely do up to the Mass Fusion mission and create a save there and still get all of the faction trophies by reverting to this save. You can dive a bit deeper for each faction until you reach a dialog that says you will become enemies with X faction before executing a mission or it'll be glaringly obvious what you are about to do will ruin relationships.

What's up with some companions giving me shit for using Med-X or RadAway? "Uh, I don't like drugs." Well, sorry. I'm trying to not die to the super mutant with a giant minigun who is currently about ten yards away.

It's it just the ps4 version or are other version also having issues with settlements where randomly they show up as having no food or beds in the pipboy and that making happiness go down? I got like double the beds required and then I get this issue and even I go and check my settlement the settlers comment on the issue but I got enough of everything.

Thank you was wondering about this.

They have dislikes and likes. I think you get a quest or perk if you do a lot of stuff they like.

The guide has a chart, let me know if you want a pic.

Found a Combat Rifle that adds extra Energy damage and can turn enemies into goo.

Yes please.gif

Found that beauty, too. Turned it into a .50 cal and it rocks for long distance.

What designates something as "CLEARED"? Does it mean you've uncovered the whole map, or that you've found the best item there?

It seems to be tied to killing the "boss" monster of an area. And not every area can be cleared (AND once cleared, they'll occasionally get reinhabited by new enemies).

The way some NPCs will wander around while you're talking to them is really obnoxious.

Also, I failed one of the Minutemen "help this settlement" quests, since I took too long to do it. Will this really effect anything?

The best part about doing the Minutemen quests is that
you get to call down artillery after building it. Speaking of which, how do I get more artillery smoke grenades? I'm assuming from the same crate where I got them initially in the armory, they'll replenish?

No, I get that. I just think it's ridiculous that someone would get upset by my using drugs at a time that is certainly medically justifiable.

Thanks. I'll keep this in mind.

For anyone who has the
Shishkebab...

I cleared out Saugus Ironworks and the final boss is not hostile and Jake is outside his room. When I kill him, he isn't holding the Shishkebab. I have also tried finding Abraham Finch at Finch Farms, but he doesn't seem to be there.

Any ideas? Is it just bugged?

Considering the circumstances of the nuke, yea I'd be fucking drugged out too haha.

I've had my companions whine about my actions too :/ too bad for them
