It's kind of absurd no one reacts to cannibalism. Dramatic death in Diamond City where Kyle
gets shot down for synth paranoia, his brother is in tears. Politely eat the body in front of the entire town, no one cares.
So nobody ever turns hostile to your cannibalism? That's a pretty dumb change from the previous games. Or was it just in that one scripted situation?

About 35 hours in and I still haven't gone to the
Glowing Sea
. I've just been doing a ton of sidequests trying to get down to a more manageable number of quests but it just ain't happening. I keep getting new quests!

Probably the coolest side-quest so far was the
U.S.S. Constitution
. Great quirky Fallout humor.

Are you not supposed to be able to assign
Nick Valentine
to jobs in your settlements? It won't let me.

There are a few companions that won't do manual labor and Nick is one of them. I'd recommend sending any companions you don't use to a different settlement if you're trying to optimize getting your happiness to 100%.

On an unrelated note: I did it.

Settlers question.
Is there a way to check if any of my settlers is idling or not doing any work/assignment?

I can assign Cait to defend a barricade, but I can't do that on Strong. I'm not sure.

I was literally about to swap Codsworth out for Piper yesterday (I'd recently gotten his perk), and as I was walking over to dismiss him, Codsworth took that moment to call my SS by his name, and then say how honored he was to be chosen as a companion.

...I couldn't do it. We went and killed some feral ghouls together.

I feel like less of an asshole when you're swapping companions naturally in dialogue, but I didn't want Codsworth to float all the way back from Diamond City by himself. (I check on Preston/Dogmeat every time I pop into Red Rocket, and manually escorted them both there in the first place. I don't want them to disappear!)

Just got my hands on some new power armor. Check it out, ladies.

Whelp encountered my first quest bug.

The quest Tradecraft for the Railroad. Deacon won't open the security door. Just stands in the hall way.

Saving, quitting, and reloading back into the game fixes it for future bug encounterers.

Just saw a video with a bunch of sarcastic replies.

I should have used that sarcasm button more :_:

Is there any reason not to drop all of your crafting component junk on the ground and scrap it all? Wondering what the point of this all is.

Any weightless junk mods?

I know this has been answered before but what quest is the point of no return for the BOS? I just got to the
Prydwen
is it too late? Should I leave now!

Just cleared the
Museum of Witchcraft
. God, that was terrifying. Now to decide
what to do with this egg
.

If you
return it to its nest, you get a deathclaw gauntlet. Also, if you're a dick, you can take the egg back afterwards then try to sell it to the deliveryman.

You are nowhere near that point

Like...at all lol :)

What you describe is a common problem in the game, but not for the case you mention. It's explained in his story

People do make a few quips about it though

Sometimes randoms say that they dont like him in the city and they wonder why they haven't kicked him out yet. Anyway eventually nick will tell you why they havent kicked him out. Hes my favorite companion, mainly cause he saves me the trouble of having to hack terminals

He explains it

Oh thank fuck, this was really bothering me. I just got him so he hasn't opened up to me yet but I guess when I met him I didn't ask the right stuff because he didn't even mention anything about it yet. That and wandering Diamond City with him no one gave me a line about it. Guess just bad luck on those NPC rolls.

I got the same one. He would just sit there on the gound like he was injured. Quitting and reloading wirked for me as well.

Really? I just did this one today. Momma showed up and looked at me but nothing else really happened. I didn't understand what was the point.

I liked the town near that spot though. Hit the alarm and summon several Death Claws to come wipe out a bunch of raider scum.

Anybody have the guide? Is it it worth it? I remember liking the Skyrim guide, but if I remember right, it had some errors in it. I'm not sure if I should shell out the money or just wait for the wiki to be updated.

First annoying bug after 23 hours

during the mission
precipice of war, where you defend the vertibird, somehow the game spawned 2 of the knights on the goddamn the roof of a CIT building you can't reach after I downed their vertibird (which crashed near the police station nowhere near the damn CIT ruins FUCK U TODD HOWARD!)
about an hour of progress lost.
