is there a perk that allows you to have more than one companion? Could have swore I remembered people talking about one, but cant find anything like that on the perk tree.

Nah
Im with you.
fuck power armor and settlements.

I haven't really used it outside of one mission after getting it. Even with that mission I'm not sure I even needed it. I've messed around a little with the settlements but not much. Certainly not any wall building but just turret defense, planting, and scrapping things and fixing up some areas but that's it.

Do the water purifiers (industrial) need someone assigned to them?

Also the recruitment beacon tower thing is on, do I know when it works or do I need to do more things? It is turned on (green light).

No. There should be at least one to have the dog + 1 companion but no

I wonder if they are going to add perks with the dlcs

Happy to be done unlocking all the achievements, especially after it took so long to get the horrible settlement one! T.T

REALLLLLLY hope that Bethesda doesn't add more of those to the DLC. Might start up New Vegas next since I never got around to playing that one when it was released.

I (and am sure many others) would be majorly pissed if they didn't add achievements/trophies to any future DLC. However, its very unlikely that they won't show up since every Bethesda expansion has offered additional achievements.

In my game someone from Albernathy farm is constantly getting kidnapped.

Its the same raiders from the same locations too. I just ran over several raiders, enter the place, and free the settler easily since all the doors are unlocked already.

I haven't been this immersed in a game world in a long time.... Tip my hat to Bethesda. Anyone else notice how this game can go from graphically fugly to downright beautiful at times (particularly in the day time)?

Yo. I'm the same way. Your entire post lol.

With all its performance issues on console, is it still worth picking up? I sort of want to jump in but concerned it will ruin my enjoyment.

The game is perfectly playable on consoles, despite some drops here and there.

By all accounts anyone with a remotely decent rig should get 60 fps.

Those quests are endless and repeatable. The sooner you ignore them the happier you will be :p

wait, thats exactly what im looking for. A positive for Nick is healing dogmeat in his presence, so I was wondering how that was possible. What is that perk under?

There isnt one...I just said it :p

No just 5 power (there is a 10 power and 5 generator available in the shop)

Recruitment beacons are automatically on when placed. Aside from powering it you have to do nothing. People sometimes come almost instantly.

What determines how many action points a single shot of a weapon uses in VATS? I can't figure out why one rifle can only get 3 shots in VATS while a rifle with the exact same
ROF gets 5 shots.

Pretty sure I'm not the only one who haven't used power armor since the tutorial part in the beginning, right?
I think I have like 20 fusion cores in sitting my storage.

I avoided using it at the beginning because the fuel system bugged me. But once I figured out you can just buy the cores, I decided to just go for it. I love the power armor now and don't leave anywhere without it. It's fun looking for new and stronger pieces, repairing the suit (technically repair is still in the game!), and last but not least, you are an absolute tank. And you can mod it to fly, but I'm not at the level to do that yet.

More DLC achievements are definitely wanted, I just don't want more achievements related to the settlements!

How much are the cores?

Odd question.

Is there any way to change the weight your carrying?
Not talking about the limit but what you are currently carrying. (obviously other than dropping everything as I have 5kish weight when nothing is in my inventory)

Is there a console command for it? Assuredly I messed up when I increased my limit or because I did that and then used the configuration tool and that didn't play nice.

Scopes, barrels, etc. improve accuracy but are a detriment to VATS. So manage appropriately. Your best option is to have a gun for building crits and a heavy hitter for critical hits.

Thanks. Kind of annoying there is no stat for AP consumption. It doesn't even mention it in any of the mod descriptions either.

The Gauss Rifle does laughable damage. Over 500, jesus. I don't even need headshots to one shot everything with my x5.3 sneak hits on Survival. Even the Queen went down in one shot. lol Now imagine a legendary "double damage" Gauss Rifle. Holy shit.

So are scavengers supposed to be hostile in this game? I could have swore in fallout 3 they weren't hostile but they attack me on sight in fallout 4.

I never harmed one before or anything.

HAHAHA, used the
Artillery
perk from my settlement and i totally wasted those groups of Raiders.

i found one building so far named after my town. better than nothing.

Did anyone have any luck finding a Vault 81 jumpsuit? I couldn't find one in the whole vault.

Speaking of, I found a vault 81 trader. Out in the world during a sidequest.

Im like "look at this cheeky fuck, im the vault dweller in this game motherfucker" ;_;

Boston is more fucked up than DC :p

How did you get your sneak to 5.3x? I thought my char is at max with 4.4x.

20 hours in and haven't used it since the beginning either. I haven't even gotten around to starting the main missions yet or building a proper settlement. When you cant walk 2 feet without picking up a new mission, its easy to get distracted.

i encountered a weird bug where i was in a mission with my Power Armor with some Minutemen. decided to get out and clear some grunts before a boss but one of the Minutemen took my Power Armor and i couldn't get her to leave it. Ended up losing it, lol

Lol of course they're gonna add achievement/trophies with dlc. Hell they might add some prior. There's no barrier like last gen. You can pretty much add trophies in every update if you feel like it. Regardless there's a 0% chance they don't add more with the dlcs.

also, this stupid cow is on the top of my workshop in Sanctuary and it will not leave. i think it's stuck. now it constantly moos when i'm there. i might see what happens if i shoot it and get Carla to hate me, lol

Sidequest glitches.

Might be having some Preston/castle issues. I had to talk to him about a quest defending Jamaican Plain, nothing happened. Moved on and failed the quest, but it's stuck on my list. And I have a help defend the castle miscellaneous quest that won't start, and I'm at the point where if I fast travel anywhere it fails and I lose half my people there.

Any ideas?

So uhhh this happened tonight... (I'll put in spoilers for you guys trying to stay in the dark but this is an enemy encounter during a quest)

I had went to sleep and I woke up and she was in the freaking room with me. So I started hacking on her with my Grognak Ax...and I'm warped out of the castle and she stays stuck in the castle and then I just pot shotted her with ammo and she eventually went down lmao.
