Haha, I was in an office yesterday and there was a teddy bar sitting in a chair facing a desk with a coffee mug in his lap. Apparently there is one reading a newspaper on a toilet somewhere.

The fun factor of this game is through the roof.

Yeah I found the toilet one and another one :D

Did someone say this game did a cool thing with the map halfway through before it came out?

Does this game do a cool thing with the map halfway through?

Anyone else get genuinely scared by ghoul infested buildings? I don't know whether it's the enhanced audio, or that they seem to come out of nowhere but this one gets scarier than the precious titles for me.

Especially
comic book store

Page moved so fast so excuse the repost.

Is there any reason to not do "the big dig"? I'm just worried if i do it I will piss a bunch of people off.

I've had a few of them sneak on me when i turn around and jump scare the crap out of me. But since i have the ghoul shotty i can take them out with one shot. Add VATS to the equation. Its rare that any of them land a hit on me.

BUT! i think these ghouls are awesome. Love how relentless they are.

I have no idea where I got the Hazmat suit from, but that's what I used to get through the Glowing Sea.

I think there is a perk to ignore radiation from water. You can swim without any repercussions. I think it even allows you to swim without worrying about oxygen.

Fallout 4 has turned me into a chem addict. At first it was just the stims... You know, to relieve some of that pain. Then I thought, why should I even feel the pain in the first place? So I started taking med-x before fights, which then lead to Buffout. And then I thought: Deathclaws move too damn fast, and started taking jet to keep track of them. And then I realized that even if I can keep track of Death Claws, it doesn't matter much if I can't hurt them much, so I started injecting Psycho. Then I realized that some mentats make me talk better, so I started chewing some of them before important conversations... And now it feel like I'm constantly hopped up on drugs. It's gotten so bad that I've been going out of my way to murder raiders and steal their chems.

I have a problem.

I noticed all of those plus one where he's wearing a soldier helmet with a cigar in his mouth and I also found one that's "caged" inside a Garbage can so I was thinking they had fun with these teddy bear placements.

I accidently took a chem once, but Piper didnt like it so I wept.

Is there a list that shows which missions are infinite? Trying to avoid those. I am trying to do as many missions before I finish the main story.

Trader Rylee (the trader in the vault suit found in the cannery building) is bugged for me. Told her to go to the Castle, then I did Theodore's quest. Afterwards, couldn't find her so I used the console to teleport to her, and she's somehow ended up in a closed-up room in the same area of the world map as where I found her.

You can tell which ones are by their generic quest titles and generic objectives. Also, they're given out by faction people and they make it pretty clear that it's just busywork before you accept it.

Repeating quest givers that I can remember off the top of my head:

- 2 people in Boston Police Department
- Preston
- Doctor guy in the Prydwen

and some late game ones I'd rather not spoil, but are obvious when you get to them.

Yea I accepted all of them just in the off chance I complete the missions accidently while exploring. It happens more than you think.

I did a shitload of repeating quests, just because they kept taking me to new areas. If I'm going to explore locations, might as well get a ton of bonus EXP for doing it.

Guys, how do I tell a settler to move to another settlement? Need someone to fire some artillery and have no one in current Base to use.

Thanks

I'm starting to realize the possibilities of the settlement customization. I built a crib for my settlement but need some toys you can only get through scavenging. I built a pool table, but now I'm determined to go find pool balls and a pool cue.

You could probably make some pretty funny scenery in your settlements.

Ha, inspired by others in this thread I've done the same thing - built a sweet tavern with bar, jukebox, pool table, the works. I've been collecting cues and balls and placed on my table. The only issue I've had is that after building an awesome bar complete with shelving on back walls lined with all manner of booze, I came back and found that most objects have "sunk" into the surface. So bottles all now half clipped into the shelves, my pool balls are clipped partly into the table, my pitcher and glasses sunk halfway into the bar top... I painstakingly fixed it all but then it went it happened again when I came back into town. :(

The death skull just means that enemy has the potential to fuck you up. They usually have decent loot though, even if it's not legendary.

Skull just means they are way high level than you are. Like in Destiny the ?? or in TW3 it had a skull too. Just to signify that you are about to try and take on a really tough enemy.

A skull next to their name means they're several levels higher than you. A star next to their name means they're a legendary / special enemy.

Thanks! I've had a bit of a problem facing them. They mostly mutate (get full health back) which is why they kill me most of the time lol xD

because 1 nuke is not enough
I need to see this in action.
Near the baseball dude in Diamond City is a stairs to a cellar where it's sold.
Thank you so much, a friend found one but I forgot the location, this is much easier.
You can get one inside the science building where you do the first BOS quest with the paladin.
Well shit there we go! What's the name of it? I did that mission but I must have passed it.

I keep getting sent back to the same place (ration stockpile).

It's random, so I just got lucky only having to go back to the same place a few times, the vast majority of the repeating quests took me to places I hadn't been before.

I just copied this from a Wiki, but here are all the locations of the Hazmat suit:

Yangtze Inside a locker where the warhead is located
Hugo's Hole
Sold by Becky Fallon in Diamond City
Two suits can be found on a table in the room before the prototype in The Switchboard
Four suits can be found in the Marowski's Chem Lab above Four Leaf fishpacking plant
One suit can be found in the Backyard Bunker in West Everett Estates
Cambridge polymer labs
Can be found in Memory Den

Edit: Oops my bad, was a different science building...

cambridge polymer - after you're inside the lock down area working on making a polymer to get out, it's in one of the offices

God I hate ghouls in this one.

They are still, and officially, my "nope".
Walk into a building and see some ghouls running at me? I nope the hell out of that place.

that extra nuke fatman, I just bought it from the arms vendor in Diamond City btw

10500 caps or something

Lol, a super mutant said "stupid humans, always wanting to fight" as soon as I started shooting.

I hate the leaping attack they do. I'm always think I have enough distance between me and them, and then they lunge at you in the blink of an eye. Fuckers.
