Nope. The dialogue colour doesn't change even if your charisma is really high. Mine is is 12 and I still get red text more then I should.

The color is the difficulty, rather than a percentage. At a high enough charisma, your percentage is 100% regardless of the color. I always boost it before taking quests, and I've never failed asking for 400 caps.

Anyone come up against an Assaultron Dominator bot in Quincy Police Station? HOLY SHIT! It took 3 mini nukes to kill it. Retried god knows how many times due to it one shotting me.

I died so many times to a Legendary bot in a random carpark until I figured out the best thing to do is to just take out a leg. They actually take more damage in the legs than the head or the torso too, so it serves a dual purpose. They can still laser beam you to death though....

I've failed once in Vault 81.
To ask the sister of the Jet head to join me at Sanctuary.

Just realized that PC does not have any eating animations. So you see NPCs chowing down on Noodles in Diamond City right next to me but player lacks that animation. In general are there really any eating animations for PC at all?

I listen to Diamond City Radio too much and had to make this...

I need to stop jetpacking around towns with my explosive landing power armor mod... Every time I land I make the town hostile towards me.

I have the Rifleman perk. Just picked up an "Assault Rifle", which is semi-auto. This still counts as a non-automatic rifle, correct? Just making sure.

Are there any more Vaults in the game that can be explored?

All I've seen so far is
Vault 111 (beginning of game) and Vault 114 (where you rescue Valentine)
.

NPC clothes that you can kill at anytime but still, for those more sensite about spoilers

I have to admit, for someone that never goes crazy with random rampage in open world games like GTA or what have you,
rampaging through the Prydwin was hella fun lol

Ok guys..so i was exploring this building and out of the blue comes this super friendly looking Legendary Deathclaw. He's level 22 and i am level 13, but i do want to see if i can beat him. On very hard by the way, haha.

What i am wondering is..what does the electricity icon and water icons mean here, does it mean he's gonna do down easier with electricity weapons? What about the water icon?

is that level and resistances information on enemies always there in VATS and I never noticed, or is it a perk?

I think people really undervalue the whole simulation in the game that is taking place in the background. Everything so far I would expect to happen after a certain action in a quest, did happen. Your are playing somewhat your own narrative and everything is just so coherent about it. i never felt that way when playing something and I actually think the writing is decent as is the atmosphere. My GOTY/GOTG so far.

Little help with the
Road to Freedom
quest? It popped up about 20 hours ago while in Diamond City (IIRC) and I'm 30 hours in now. I've found a few of the 'markers' out of sequence but because it doesn't update the quest when you find them, I can't tell which ones I've been to and where they were or where to head next. The quest just says "follow the trail".

Means he's more resistant to energy damage, I think. Also shows he's immune to radiation.

Not sure about the water icon.

This Benevolent Leader trophy can go fuck itself. There's literally nothing else I can do as I've reached the size limit. Built all the 3rd tier shops, more than enough food, beds and water for everyone. TVs and jukeboxs, sofas, tables and chairs. Even built a fucking bar for their ungrateful asses. Fuck this.

Man, I'm really wrestling with the conclusion to the
Hole in the Wall
sidequest. I chose to
drink the cure myself. I mean, that kid was pretty annoying anyway. But is the vault quarters you get as a reward for saving him worth the permanent -10 HP
?

Have the same problem I followed it and ended up at Bunker Hill... There are no markers there anymore though.

wait...what?
you could get sick and drink the cure yourself?

I wonder if Im sick and didnt notice lol. oh well

Anybody experiencing this bug where the workshops page in your pipboy says a settlement (in my case The Castle) only has 1 bed and even puts up a warning exclamation point there, but you definitely have more there and when you actually go there and open up the workbench it says all your beds are there? I've scrapped and rebuilt all my beds from scratch and this went away but it's happening again. I think it might be preventing the happiness from increasing there.

That's a perk.

do you want a straight answer to what you have to do? i can pm you what you need

It's a perk man. Without it, you don;t see the info,

Noooooooooo, actually more resistant to energy? Just my luck. Gonna have to try that Buffjet+ bottlecap mines approach again, haha.

See, I fast-travelled to Bunker Hill just because I realised I hadn't been there in forever, and Piper
said something about "roads" leading to Bunker Hill.
I also found
a cover in the floor that says [INACCESSIBLE]
so I'm guessing it's something there?

I just want to know whether it's simple to start the trail over. Where it starts, I guess.

I have a mission where I'm outright told that I should use Power Armour to reduce radiation damage. I haven't used it since the mission I got it, and it seems I accidentally sold the armour pieces for it. Where can I get more?

Yeah, check your stat screens.
You'll see a little icon in the upper left. You've got mole rat disease! Enjoy! So tell me, how good are the quarters you get as a reward?

It sucks that later in the game,
you can't tell the doctor aboard the Pyrdwen about Mole-Rat Disease when he asks you if you've contracted any communicable diseases.

I'm not that far into the game (I just finished the detective quest), but I found another Power Armour randomly by exploring
the south-west area of the map, on the main road. There's an ominous looking military building on a hill and you just climb up, grab the suit, and teleport back to safety. There's some pieces missing though.

err its just a room. I havent been there since lol

Seriously, this game is very time-consuming, level 19 and still at
Valentine's
main mission, hope it won't be too easy!

I have a question..

How exactly does the workbench storage work? I thought the workbenches all shared storage, at least for junk.

forgot to mention, bumped to very hard a couple of hours ago, basically for these end game missions. Feels good. I wont go Survival tho, hell im not even specced for dmg

my difficulty track was like hard at start for about 5 hours, wasnt having fun, switched to normal for most of the game (lets say the next 60 or so hours), switched to hard again when I was feeling too OP, and it felt just nice again for about 15-20 hours, and now very hard.

They'll share it if you link them up after you get the leader perk.

Without that, only local benches will share it but not other locations.

Thanks, but it's specifically pieces I'm looking for.
