I don't see what's hard to understand about where people could get that from. The Namekian Book of Legends talks about SSG, so maybe it'd talk about some God form for Namekians as well. He has to get some kinda boost ya know

Moreover, modern Saiyans themselves didn't know about SSG (judging from Vegeta), so the idea that Namekians somehow have records of it opens up a lot of possibilities.
 
Regarding the manga spoilers, I think
Buu could still be dropped from the team, considering the written exam. That seems like the perfect excuse, to say, throw in Kuririn as a last minute replacement because he's close for some reason.

About Piccolo,
they could just take Whis and Piccolo himself to the Room of Space and Time. He was there in the Buu Saga, so it seems like he didn't use all his time for the Cell Games.

Gohan .Just make something up like Beerus got interested in Gohan and ask him to a spar and found out that he's really strong.

written exam is mainly just to make sure Champa doesn't bring monsters.
 
I don't know. I just find Goku and Vegeta incredibly unlikable. I know we aren't really suppose to relate to them because they are crazy people who value combat prowess above all else. But that's why Gohan was an important character throughout the series. He actually cared about everyone around him in an earnest way. Yeah, he didn't want to fight but he grew to understand the importance of setting his feelings aside and doing what was necessary (Cell games Gohan anyways). I always wanted one scene were Goku/Vegeta were just fucking around once again with a powerful enemy and Gohan just shuts that shit down.

EDIT: Trunks was a similar character... but that dude was such a bitch.

Legit forgot about Roshi and Yajirobe (Who pulled more weight than a lot of people, come to think of it.)

Bulma technically saved everyone in the Namek sagas by enabling everyone to get to the planet, and her father enabled everyone (bar for Goku) to return home.
 
What is even the point of gotten and trunks at this point like why are they there, why are they super saiyans , why can they fuse into a damn super saiyan 3 and still get left behind to not be able to fight simple thugs because it's to dangerous but krillin, master Roshi and tien can come(yes I'm still salty about that) and finally
, I'd argue they are stronger than piccolo so how the heck aren't they picked!

They're there to be cute kids and sometimes comedy relief, toriyama is good are drawing adorable kids in adorable clothes. ex. goku in original dragonball

In regards to the last bit. Fusion just has too many drawbacks.

I agree with you. Buu saga introduced a ton of stuff that was basically all pointless. I think Toriyama just struggled with not using Goku so much anymore. He wanted someone to take his place so he had all these things in motion... but he could never commit fully to the idea.

It seems like he is over this idea though.
 
Did they retcon the hell out of Bra? She is only supposed to be a year or 2 younger than Pan I think.

Yea I agree with the fusion drawbacks and I also agree with your second point. He set these kids up to be pretty much like their fathers. They loved fighting and sparing with each other, always competing. Super saiyans at a young age. Heck chi-chi even personally helped goten train.

Its so funny because I loved these two they were my mains in the video games and gotenks is the GOAT. Not having them show up in resurrection f was like a slap in the face

Buu arc ideas are jokes, and yes I will keep repeating that until people stop taking its blatant nonsense so seriously.

Eh? Catching up on super? I think your mixing me up with someone else. I quoted the guy who said bra was probably retconned in which I than said but wasn't she in the originals ending

He was catching up on Super. Super takes place before the end of DBZ. Bra isn't born yet, if she's even going to exist at all.
