Its been a bit since I paid any attention to the PC modding scene so I don't really remember all the characters. I assume in the chart posted on the last page, the "variations" are the models that have slight tweaks to the base models they use.

Well they are releasing the new character around when this game releases, so it isn't out of the question but I think it is highly unlikely. I'm not sure we even know the new character is a woman or toddler.
I thought about the possibilities of the new character being a guy, then I laughed.
Hayashi already confirmed that the new character won't be in DOAX3 even if the character ends up as a female character.

Hah. Yeah, I just have such a hard time believing they're not releasing any characters via DLC. I mean... granted it is costumes, but DOA5LR has two $90+ season passes, Tecmo loves them some DLC.

Having the rest of the cast would lead to more potential DLC costume sales, and as the model info of this page shows.. adding the other characters likely would be very little actual work. It makes perfect sense.

Wait, so for you import types if I: Buy a foreign version, purchase/download DLC through the applicable PSN store and then try to play the game again on my US account, will the DLC still be in-game?
Or will I have to play the game on my foreign account for the DLC/Online-Play (if available) to function?

I'm using an EU and an NA account at the same time on the PS4 and games I bought from the EU one are fully available to the NA account, including the DLC. I'd expect it to be the same with an Asian account and whatever you're currently using.
Online play I'm not sure about, though because I don't know how PS+ gets "shared" in that scenario. I'd hope as long as you have it on the account you're currently playinjg on you could play online, but haven't had any experiences with it.
If both your accounts are set to that PS4 as primary, then one Plus account means online play for all accounts on that console. So you can share both DLC and online play that way.
