I get the impression they're blending together his claw and flame selves from the latest iteration, and both he and Leona have a history of briefly going into Riot of Blood mode during supers.

Considering the reactions to her absence in XII and how that affected her presentation in XIII, I wouldn't be surprised if most of the effort was being put on her and she's getting revealed last.

Sure it will probably never look actually good but it's something.

Just let's give them more time, it won't be the best looking game but imo in the end it will be decent, let's not forget that it will have 40+ characters!

In Andy's defence, after he peaked when they made his full screen dash move input downback-forward on KoF XIII, the only way for him to go was down.
holy shit, this looks awful. should've stuck with 2D if they couldn't make good 3D characters.
That was the move's motion in most if not all of the games he's in.
It had the reputation for being particularly strong in Fatal Fury 2 though, which was apparently the strongest Andy ever was.

Half the reason they're 3d is because it's hard to find 2d animators for games. Don't forget it's a new team. All the know how from KoF13 is lost.
