You know, I actually like SS4. While the execution was not the best I think the design is really solid. I would love to see a revisit to it and it just have a better plot around it.

it just occured to me that it would be cool if the tournament takes place for whatever amount of time it normally would, however, when they finish it and return to earth, years have passed, Goten and Trunks have aged, and maybe we can have some kinda spin off or event occurring during the time Goku, Vegeta, Boo and Piccolo are out forcing the rest of the gang to do something relevant

You realize Dragon Ball Heroes' plot is about kids playing a video game, right? Heroes' plot is trash.

I think the first 20 episodes of Super have been much better executed than GT's, the only issue is that it's retelling stories we already know.

Yep there's nothing wrong really wrong with the retelling and the actually new stuff seemed to get a good reaction.

Xenoverse is better. DB Heroes loses points for going the Yugioh route. "This is an arcade game! No, wait, the supernatural powers were real in the past and now the Shadow Dragons might return! Only we'll never actually allow things to step out of the game."

It's kind of funny how DB Super actually makes the power progression of the Time Patroler from Xenover make more sense, since by the end he matches Goku with God-ki absorbed, which seemed impossible before Vegeta's training with Whis here.

Yep there's nothing wrong really wrong with the retelling and the actually new stuff seemed to get a good reaction.

There have been some problems with the retelling though. They completely forgot to reintroduce Pillaf and crew, so right now they're children for no reason. The pacing also was pretty bad at times (like half of an episode for rock, paper scissors).

Well the rock paper scissors bit is one of favourite things so far so I don't agree there but I yeah they definitely messed up Pilaf compared to the movie. But in general I don't think it's significantly worse than the movies.

Oh I know, but that's why it's amazing... in a bad way. So bad it's good!

I just started playing Xenoverse. I wish the controls (playing on a controller) were a little better and animations a little more fluid but so far it seems good.

I don't see the point in some stuff being spoiler tagged when most of the non spoiled discussion for the last couple of pages is either direct latest manga chapter discussion or discussion as a result of events in the latest manga chapter (ex: Piccolo, Buu, Gohan, Goten, and Trunks current strength).

As far as I'm concerned the only thing Minus did was tell us who Gine was and what she looked like. The movie supercedes everything else.
