Uncharted 4 Multiplayer Beta stream today

I was a little turned off by the initial footage, but this got me more excited. The characters and animations look fantastic. The controls/shooting/movement looks really great. The maps look awesome. Melee looks improved. Still not sure about some of the new stuff. Really don't like the radar. But I will wait and see how it plays for myself. Only a few days away!

Just saw the archive..looks so damn fun :S what a terrible time to release the beta tho. Finals week. Hopefully i can at least get a few days in or maybe hopefully they will extend the beta by a week or so

As someone who has always enjoyed the weighty nature of Gears of War, as well as the more grounded feel of Tomb Raider and The Last of Us, this new footage excites me.

It doesn't look slippery and change of direction looks more realistic and weighted.

Looks a little bit too hectic for me though - hope there is a more stripped back mode.

nice character models in the viewer

I guess I need to play this and see.

From all the footage I've seen, this mp looks like a complete clusterfuck and is super bloated with mechanics.

I enjoyed the simplicity of uncharted 2 and TLOU, so I don't think I might like this.

I love 3rd person games for single player, I almost always prefer them over 1st person. But I've never been able to get into 3rd person multiplayer games though. This doesn't seem to change that. Oh well. Uncharted games are worth the price just for their single player to me.

The animations are absolutely incredible. Game looks buttery smooth. I'm more excited for the campaign but I'll get plenty of hours in the MP judging by how good this looks already.

I didn't like what I saw in the multiplayer trailer but this looks like so much fun. They've taken things from TLoU's multiplayer which is great since I found it to be better than both Uncharted games. Core mechanics look like they've been improved a lot, from just basic movement, rolling, shooting, melee combat, rope swinging, and it all just looks so fluid. Time to kill also looks perfect.

Super bloated.

Mid-match purchasable weapons, special moves, AI allies, gear, in addition to a perk system. The game looks super-fast and chaotic too.
Really don't like this, especially in this new age of microtransactions. I don't want to interact with an in-game digital storefront every few minutes.

It's just like it was in TLOU multi where you earn in game currency while you play and during respawns you purchase upgrades for weapons. basically Leveling up your gear during the match.

If I am wrong and it is actually real money please correct me.

You're right. Microtransactions so far have only been shown for cosmetics on the "out-game" store.

Dude, it functions just like TLOU
And like many other games before it, way before anybody even spoke of stuff like microtransactions. I know. Its just in this new climate where microtransactions are showing up everywhere, and sometimes months after release, I don't look at those kinds of designs the same way any more.

What you guys think of the graphics, I'm a bit disappointed considering how good Battlefront looks at 900p

I don't know which game looks better, BF is really going for a different look, more realistic while U4 is more cartoony, but even if we somehow agree that BF looks better and is more impressive, U4 is the second best looking 60 fps Multi game I've seen so I don't know how can you be disappointed, it looks great!

Just imagine how single player is going to look if multi is looking this good.

About the stream, don't like the superpowers and side kicks and all this shit, but gameplay looks great, gunplay is awesome, much improved over previous entries.

Hyperbole much.

It's literally in-game power ups or upgrades for sale with points you gather in the actual match.

Calling them microtransactions is just undermining the actual absurdity of real microtransactions.

You misunderstand my posts, and I didn't call them microtransactions. I would explain further but it'd only derail things.

Suffice it to say I just personally don't like the idea interacting with in-game stores of any kind these days.

I just finished an UC3 MP match and it felt like playing a slideshow. 60fps is a must.

I also have to say that it's incredibly hard to find matches in less popular modes with the DLC on/off BS and the multitude of playlists.

ND please consolidate similar modes in the same playlist in UC4 MP. This is how I'd do it:

1) Kill-oriented modes (TDM, Elimination, Classic/Hardcore)
2) Objective-oriented modes (Plunder, Team Objective)
3) Co-op modes (Arena, Adventure etc.)

The modes should be votable (just like maps) and the PVP DLC maps should be free & mandatory with a patch. You can sell cosmetic stuff/ND points to fund the maps.

But it's not an in game store.. It has as much interaction as calling in a killstreak in a CoD game (pressing the directional buttons)
