Xenoblade Chronicles X: Skell hath no fury like an Asscave scorned
Does anyone care what Otero's review is???
We have tons of other ones.
Maybe big IGN fans.
Well yeah, people whose tastes are in line with Otero's. The tons of reviews might all be worthless to these people if they feel like they usually disagree with the reviewers.
I personally think he should have let someone else review the game and that is not because of bitterness.
It doesn't seem to be his type of game but he's the senior review editor or whatever and seems to always review big titles.
Was hoping maybe give that female the review for this one.

Uhhhhh. If it were the other way around, would you have said "that MALE"?
Tomorrow. When is the OT going up ?
Damn are WiiU installations always this slow? .
Gamemania BE broke streetdate already. =P
Depends on which server you get.Damn are WiiU installations always this slow? It's showing me 1,5h :|. Even Halo MCC with downloading a 20GB patch seems to install faster (and I started this after XBC).
Curious if any reviewers who weren't fans of the first one ended up enjoying this more for whatever reason.

I picked up somewhere (can't remember where, sorry) that it's not possible to have the game's audio come through the gamepad. As in, plug my headset into the gamepad and have all the game's audio come throught there (it's possible in all other games). Is this true?
Mine took about 6 hours on a 60gb connection.
Still no IGN review?? And no article about why??

It's apparently taking him forever to beat.

Well it's not a common JRPGI'm so sorry for everyone who is having shipping problems. The game is amazing. Technically it's my first JRPG. I love it!
It's a IGN policy that he needs to finish the game to review it? I wouldnt want a rushed review, specially of a 50+ hour JRPG.Reviewer has not finished the game.
Has a subtitle been chosen for the |OT| yet? May I suggest "Sequel to Xenoblade Chronicles IX"?

There are none.
Unless you fast travel or enter the BLADE building. And then they're a handful of seconds. Not worth mentioning.
With the exception of fast travel and entering a certain building, there is no loading time for going around the map.
It's mostly that you can customize the skills you use and you have to strategize their use.So some reviews say this game has fantastic combat. Is that compared to other RPGs or games in general? Is it the strategy, the weapons? Because most RPG combat bores me to tears but if I knew this would really keep me engaged I would buy this game in a heartbeat.
Seems more like he's trying to meet a deadline than actually playing the game. It's apparently taking him forever to beat.
Reviewer has not finished the game.
Are IGN reviewers contractually required to finish the game though?
Several reviewers like GameXplain admitted they hadn't finished the game at the time of publishing the review.

Incoming bad score.
