That little smirk Affleck gives when he's asked about his position on the Bat-vigilante in Gotham is great.

Also, I think it's amazing that Wonder Woman looks like she could steal this fucking movie.

I can't *believe* these lazy developers keep making file sizes so damn large. Btw, how does technology work?
There's something i really, really don't like about this shot. I think it's WW being off-centre but I can't tell.

It looks like Bats and Supes are green screened in the background. It's "off" because it looks like only Gaddot is actually in front of a camera.

The trailer seems to make it as if the Batman vs Superman fight at first and then they band together with Wonder Woman(?) to fight that monster thing. If that is true than all the tension between Batman vs Superman in the previous trailer is gone.

This feels like Man of Steel over again. Reactions ranging from either "This is amazing" to "This looks trash."

Nothing about this worked. The haphazard editing rhythms. The thunderously generic music choice and its random coming in and out. The attempts at humor. Setting up a compelling conflict. Everything that comes out...pretty much everyone's mouth, but special mention must go to finding a Batvoice even goofier than Bale and Jessie Eisenberg straight not giving a fuck about this movie. The goofy lookin' CG. Doomsday lookin' straight up like Abomination from that awful Incredible Hulk movie.

This was bad. This was really bad.

no no no the batvoice is superior. he looks good too.

but man this looks like the same shit i criticize marvel for. very goofy humor in this one.

People are shocked about the arc of this movie being spoiled? The arc of this movie was "spoiled" the day they put "Dawn of Justice" up in the subtitle. The arc was spoiled in the first synopsis:

Fearing the actions of a god-like super hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.

It was never a mystery, it was always gonna be "they fight, big threat comes, they team up".

Loved the trailer and this is the money shot. Perhaps a bit spoilerer but there is no way we weren't going to see the villain before the film came out. It's clear as day that Lex is putting on an act here, especially when he approaches Bruce and Clark.

Loved that part. He totally knows who they are and is playing them against each other.

My guess at the structure:

Dream sequence
Armored fight
Gotham City Gas fight which turns into Doomsday fight.

I'm curious to see if they even call the beast Doomsday as he is created from Zod and the real Doomsday could still be out there.

Looks amazing...and we still have Aquaman to look forward to. Maybe I'm just getting older and taking things for what they are, because nitpicking things to death does nothing for me.

The Doomsday reveal shot could've been saved for later. It didn't look terrible but I think it didn't have any wow factor to outweigh the plot point it unveils.

I really can't believe they actually put out this trailer, it's so bad.
Like I was on board with the first trailer while not being a huge dc guy, but this is terrible.
Again, why is doomsday in this movie? He sucks.

Lashley

Why does he wear the mask!?
Personally like the modulator.

Leaving the thread though, the negativity is incredibly dull.

Loved that they showed Doomsday right away so you can talk about him in the movie and not have a lot of people complaining of "spoilers".

A bit weird of a trailer, but I loved it. Hyped for this and Civil War.

God that was bad, and campy... I might like it.

They're definitely trying to be Marvel, but failing.

Edit:

Jesse Eisenberg is a terrible Lex.

I'm dying to see this movie, but the arguments that CGI still has time to improve are pointless, since from past experiences it doesn't really get any better

The Steam equivalent of the drunk friend who keeps offering to pay your tab all night.
So they reduced Doomsday to just a filler villain in a movie that isn't about him just because the movie had to have a villain? Well besides Lex I guess. Mweh :/

To be fair I don't follow DC so all I know Doomsday is from Death Of Superman

How does apparently famous reporter Clark Kent not know who Bruce Wayne is?
I probably couldn't name a billionaire outside of Bill Gates off the top of my head
Who gives a shit anyways?

Doomsday always was, is, and will be a plot device

NeoGAF's smiling token!
That felt like they were trying to aim for a "fun" trailer, but it felt tonally inconsistent from not only my expectations(as I'm sure others) but also with everything present on screen. I have mixed feelings.

Just watched a second time. At first I thought it was pretty solid but on a second viewing the whole trailer just got of felt weird to me. Disjointed. It's odd because I usually end of liking Snyder trailers more than the movies. Hopefully this is the inverse!

This looks unbelievably bad. Every single part of it. Has me wondering what trailer you guys were watching.

Tone is all over the place, the Lex comedy is super forced, none of the comedy lands at all, batman and wonder woman costumes look like fancy cossplay, and I just hate the hyper real art direction Zack Snyder uses and in this one it looks cranked up wayyy past 11.

Not for me I guess.

That wasn't a very good trailer, but I liked the content.

And... I like Lex? I dunno, seems like a good villain from what was shown.
