Someone photoshop Leonardo's bandana from the new turtles movie on Doomsday!

He looks like more of a Mikey.

It's sure that's not Doomsday's final form !

Look how are the Supes, Bats and WW's costume, they are great and like comics (except Supes modern)

The problem now is we know the high lines of the film but the majority already knew it, especially with the synopsis ...

If this is the trailer that plays in front Star Wars, this movie is done for.

Such a drop in quality between this and that incredible comic-con trailer

That was such a wierd trailer. The tone or something. Maybe i just need to watch it again. Maybe the cgi just isnt done yet.

Watched it again.

Universe isn't cohesive, looks like a a weird CGI alternate reality. Monster at the end couldn't be more generic, cool a A CGI blob.

I hated this trailer. I liked the first few minutes and then got spoiled with the whole Doomsday and Wonder Woman thing when I thought this movie was going to be just Batman and Superman fighting each other and eventually forming up Justice League. Now I feel like I know too much going in.

This is coming from a non-comic book reader who knows very little about DC.

I wouldn't have seen this movie anyway, but holy shit I felt like I've seen the entire thing just from this trailer. Anyone with a brain can piece together the progression. The only way this movie is entertaining is if they have some other giant ally or villain twist beyond this, or just straight up kill Batman. Short of that, everyone now knows exactly how this movie ends..no?

Feels like honest trailer for what film's actually going to be like. MoS had fairly terrific trailers that hid the Superman & Superman 2 copy and paste plot and over-abundance of unnecessary explosions and mostly paper thin characters.

At least here they've let the cat out the bag.

Afleck's going to come out of it well though probably. He's a good and interesting choice for the character.

It really looks bad. The first trailer had me hyped, the second trailer was all right, but this is terrible.

And that was Doomsday? Did we need him in there? If not, could he have not been a surprise? Then again, that didn't work for Venom so well, but worked great for Two-Face.

While I'm disappointed that Doomsday is being used this soon, now that he's confirmed I think they blew too big a load doing a full reveal of him. Do an inconspicuous backshot or something to that effect.

Looks okay. Not as good as the last trailer but I feel like this is one of the hardest comic book movies to make because it will be almost impossible to satisfy most.

This was a badly cut trailer. I think I preferred the first one.

IMHO the tone of this one was all over the place and they should have probably emphasised the tension between Bruce and Clark and how it plays out as the two of them fighting as Batman and Superman.

We've moved on from commenting about the reveal of the secondary antagonist to criticising the entire galaxy.

If this doesn't get you another tag I don't know what will.

This thread.

It's a discussion, people have different opinions than yours. Why is this so hard to accept?

Sorry, I cannot fathom this thread, when I look at social media. I just see the negativity around this movie here. Don't get me wrong, y'all of course entitled to your opinion to find this shitty, but the discrepancy on the reception of this trailer between NeoGAF and other social media is baffling to me.

What if the journey is good? A twist or surprise don't make these movies, to me at least.

I want to see how they execute the story and stage the action set pieces. I am personally fine knowing the plot points reveled so far. Of course it's easy to connect the dots here.

We shall see. It could suck. Looks good to me though. The vibe is different than the other trailers though. I wonder what the final product will be like.

A casual batman fan here, a couple of thoughts...

1) No idea who Doomsday is, so him/it being in this film is out of left field for me.

2) This looks like a fan made YouTube trailer considering the weird music at the beginning and the crappy editing.

3) Lex's over-acting. Yikes.

But yeah, I feel the same way. I guess from now on I'll stick to the community thread.

Out of interest, have you followed the film at all, maybe seen prior trailers? Wonder Woman's inclusion has been well-known for months. I agree that Doomsday shouldn't have been shown full-on like that, there goes the 'holy shit' moment when you see the film.

Batman goes to Gotham and he hates Superman and Superman hates Batman and they don't like each other and Lex Luthor throws a party and Batman and Superman meet and then they have a big fight but then Lex Luthor makes Doomsday and then Wonder Woman shows up and they all fight Doomsday

That is the plot to this movie.

Is it really surprising? GAF is not indicative of mainstream, see e.g. The Hunger Games.

I wonder how many people who hated all the media for this will actually just not watch the film. Nerds are always good for spending money just to complain, which I've always found kind of odd.

We have very different social media experiences because my feeds have been the same as this thread.

Lol I notice the exact same thing, all my friends are hype as fuck and then I come here, Gaf is filled with lots of wannabe movie critics still so I tend not to take em seriously.
