Oh man, this looks really good, there are some options I really didn't saw coming.
The video is in german (from german magazine gamestar) but I think you can get a lot of information just from watching it.

A short translation of some interesting stuff

- stuff doesn't pop up that fast as bad as on console
- mouse and keyboard support is just ok
- no msaa =(

Can't watch the video right now. Are they adding a fast travel ability?

Dark Arisen added that. There is an item called a Ferrystone. You place Portcrystals in the world then you use a Ferrystone to teleport to them. Actually I'm not sure if Dark Arisen added it, may have always been there. Can't remember.

Edit: As others pointed out, it was there before DA, DA just added more flexibility to the system so that it's more useful.

Wow, it looks pretty damn good. PC port seems solid, at least in terms of settings. And mouse control in the menus!

BELIEBIGE TASTE

No idea what that means, but it looks funny.

Anyway, can't wait for this. Seriously. I loved playing it on PS3 and 360, but the framerate issues and horrific motion blur killed part of the enjoyment.

Capcom guy said stuff about the 3rd right in the main thread? So I guess what he was talking about is that we'd be seeing it in the hands of Youtubers maybe? So probably some English language videos sometime today.

The game looks pretty OK (nothing spectacular) but coming off of consoles, seeing it running at 60 FPS is like some kind of crazy magic trick.

It already has fast travel.

Ok, are they adding a fast travel ability that doesn't completely suck?

Although I suppose if they started fixing bad design choices, the game would never get released. The inventory system alone would take decades.

This game was so bad on consoles, I couldn't believe how awful it was.

Those black bars, low framerate and resolution and bad pop-ins stopped me playing it on console.

FXAA being the only AA option kinda sucks but then again, most console ports don't even include proper resolution change let alone allowing higher frame-rate. Looks like a good port.

Capcom, you know what comes next. This game is too good to port it only once.

reposting from the other thread.

the options are looking good.
It supports resolutions up to 4k and has the usual texture, shadow, grass, distance scaling, depth of field (on/off) and to my surprise fov (camera) option. The only downside is that it only uses FXAA.

Tried playing it on PS Now after MGS V and just couldn't. It looked like it was in slow motion.

God that looks glorious in motion.

THIS video makes me justified in never playing the original games(even if I bought them). Holy hell it looks gorgeous.

The game looks great during combat. Yeah, it's a bit outdated but playing this at 60fps should be an amazing experience. It was the only thing I wanted when I played it back in 2012.

Fast travel from the get go is boring and takes away the exploration element from its world. You'd also miss out on the game's day/night cycle playing an important and unique role in the game.

A Capcom rep also stated that they're looking to get the game easier for mods to be made for it.
