I would fucking love Bryan Cranston as Lex Luthor, but really only because I would love to see more Bryan Cranston. He's an amazing actor who can elevate a mediocre movie (See Godzilla 2014). He handles the whole gamut of emotions well.

But that's not what the director wanted for the role, so I can't really be mad about no Bryan Cranston. Eisenberg could impress me, though I doubt it; not because of his acting, but because of the dialogue given to him in this trailer.

the Kryptonians took the fight to Superman and I can already see your bias by purposefully twisting the narrative of MoS to suit your point. I'm not going to bother pointing out piece by piece how wrong you are except that you are.

There are cases, like when Superman destroys a man's truck because he insulted him, or smashes a drone into the ground next to a soldier as a pretty menacing gesture. He shows little to no remorse at destroying public property, or hell, killing the people inside skyscrapers.

Superman is honestly characterized as a violent menace in Man of Steel. I never once saw him as a hero in that movie.

Though this genuinely just be Zach Snyder's poor characterization and focus on violence instead.

I don't get what they did to turn Zod into Doomsday

Like I'm intrigued. I remember the origin of Doomsday from that Elijah Wood video and, as comic book stories go, it seemed pretty damn stupid.

While I think Man of Steel is complete garbage, I'm not sure how you could come to this conclusion. Like in the oil rig scene he's literally running into a burning building to get people out.

That guy sexually assaulted one of Clark's friends. That drone was meant to spy on him which meant giving the government access to his personal life and close friend relationships. As much as people bitch about their privacy rights here I'm surprised the drone incident is a big deal. Superman was not directly responsible for any deaths within a skyscraper. Every death there was a result of Zod.

Supes killed people inside skyscrapers? Are you sure we watched the same movie?

And the truck scene was taken straight from the comics.

The guy whose truck he destroyed just sexually harassed a coworker and then humiliated him. Clark fucking up his truck isn't cause for crocodile tears on his part. He's an asshole.

Clark wasn't destorying anything or killing anyone on purpose. He was thrust into a situation beyond his control, having to face born and bred warriors that wanted him and everyone else dead. The fuck did you expect? He isn't a trained fighter or an experienced superhero at the time.

You completely disregard the fact that Man of Steel is an origin story. Clark Kent fucking up is pretty much the point and set up for Batman v Superman.

Zack Snyder gets Superman just fine. The core of Superman's character has never been done as well in an liveaction film before.

If Doomsday don't talk and just makes that movie monster trope of just screaming before attacking, I'm gonna be so disappointed.

Why did they spoil third act, that's just stupid.

I assume that Lex Luthor
did experiments on Zod's corpse creating Doomsday with Kryptonian physiology as a way to beat Superman. Mad scientist 101.

Doomsday never spoke a word except "wrestling" or something similar (been a while since I read DoS) until Brainiac took over his mind. He has always been a growling devoid of character brute.

In the JLU cartoon and one of the animated film he has a similar origin to BvS. A warped clone of Superman created by Luthor or Cadmus.

The previous Superman and Batman feels vastly different. Anyone get that jokey camp marvel-film vibe from all this. Like there's going to be quirks all over the place which would be a stark contrast to how the previous Superman film feels.

Damn, it must be pretty bad.

How would people even know that? Those military meetings weren't open to the public. First time most people in Metropolis saw him, he was duking it out with Zod. Would they even know what Zod looks like? Would they be able to tell who is who?

Ugh, we are not talking about people in the MoS universe we are talking about people IN REALITY blaming Supes for all the death and destruction in MoS because he activated the beacon

So what are the chances that Wonder Woman doesn't kill Doomsday?
That honor goes to Aquaman. When all hope is lost, and trinity are facing their doom, huge wave comes between buildings, damn Jason Momoa riding on top of it, crashing to Doomsday and Aquaman puts his trident through his skull.

Besides, if he talks things could get really weird. Does he remember being Zod? Does he see himself as a new creature? Does Superman really have to murder the same man twice?

If this happens (now I kind of hope it does) I would love getting the, "So who's in charge here? I vote me" line.

The entire reason they actually came to Earth was because Superman and that Kryptonian archive thingy were there. Hell, the only reason they actually were terraforming Earth was because the archive could bring back the Kryptonian species.

It always seemed extremely stupid to me that they wouldn't keep the earth's natural atmosphere, where they are city leveling gods if they just spend 5 minutes down there and get used to their new powers. It would have taken longer but it is a way more sure way of killing everyone. Two or three out of their dozen can take out superman while the other 10 go around killing everyone from orbit with their laser eyes.

Bruce seems to have met her beforehand, hence the photo of them dancing.

If I were to guess, I'd say she has a vision of an apocalyptic future and realizes she needs to intervene. Approaches Bruce in the Batcave and tells him, perhaps even forcibly, that he needs to stop this vendetta. He puts a tracker on her or something, follows her to some black-tie gala as Bruce and says "I know who you are now."

The entire time under the impression she wants him to stop because she works for Superman or is similarly strong.

right, but
according to that reddit rumor the pic of them dancing is at a time where bruce doesn't know who she is, and that when they meet in the batcave, supes is there too and ww shows up to bring plot relevant information. that's on top of it never bringing up the dream scene despite going into extreme detail for everything else.

I only just noticed how weird it is Bats is wearing the armour when fighting Supes but isn't when Doomsday pops up. What gives? Did Supes wreck it?
