My final predictions:
- Sony talking about Destiny, Call of Duty: Black Ops III and Star Wars: Battlefront, and how all of them have been a success on the PlayStation 4 platform.
- We're getting updates on Final Fantasy VII (PC port) and Fat Princess Adventures, both get release dates but are not released today.
- Sony mentions the PS2 classics coming to PS4 as announced the other day, showing more of the upcoming games on a image full of logos.
- Yakuza 5 goes up on PSN before the end of the month. Yakuza 1+2 coming to PS4 as PS2 classics.
- Extended Uncharted 4 cut of the trailer shown during The Game Awards, which also leads to an in-game demonstration of a city-based level.
- Sony Bend will show off their project
- Sony Santa Monica will show a teaser of Kratos and a God of War IV logo.
Everything that won't be there:
- Final Fantasy XII: HD Remaster, Level-5 RPG, Ace Combat 7, Onimusha, Crash Bandicoot, Final Fantasy VII: Remake, Gran Turismo Sport, Wild, The Tomorrow Children, Rime, Detroit.
- No firmware talk.
- No PSN name change feature discussed.
Very realistic set of expectations. I believe firmware talk is likely though, version 4.0, to be released mid way through 2016 or similar.
I would love a FF12 HD announcement, but there's already a lot of FF projects in the pipeline.
