Yeah, no way they were hitting 50 characters at launch without moving to 3D so the move to 3D makes even more sense. But it's still this is a big graphical downgrade. I know it's beating a dead horse and says nothing about how the game will play (which we can't verify now anyway) but its true especially since SFV and GGXRD will be out there.

I have no idea what anyone is talking about that mentions that the "graphics" got better. Looks just as hideous as when they originally showed it off. Them changing some textures or adding an extra light source in one scene does not change that the base animation and art style / how the 3d is rendered at all has absolutely no place in in a KoF game.

Ralf is looking good, looks like they went for the middle ground between the old slimmer design and KOFXII's buff design.

Angel looks much better than I expected, looking forward to Vanessa and Mai now.

They finally refreshed Kula's design and super.

True. Still comes out to more than 50 when you exclude the recycled characters, but not by a significant amount.
